MyBlessedLife.net Has A New Look!

Happy Friday! I hope y’all had a wonderful 4th of July! Ours was extremely wet and many areas were terribly flooded. We spent a lot of time with our family and enjoyed a very wet church picnic. I pulled out my cute umbrella and chevron rain boots. 😉

I’m uber excited to introduce the new look here at MyBlessedLife.net! I’ve been working with New Season Design on the new site design for many weeks to get it just right. My goal was to make my blog much more user friendly and easier to search and navigate. I also wanted to dig old posts out of the archives for you to see on the home page. There are still some tweaks that have to be made, but let me give you a little tour!

MBL Intro 4

The pink “start here” button is extra helpful for those new to my blog, but if you’re a long time reader, you may also find some fabulous information there. I’ve also plumped up my “about” page with more of my life story. :)

MBL Intro 5

The navigation bar now has drop down menus!!! *cue angels singing* This, my friends, is amazing! Each category is broken down into sub-categories. Eventually {soon} many of these categories will be organized into gallery pages which will make finding what you’re looking for even easier. Yes!

MBL New Design

The category boxes above will feature both old and new seasonal posts. I love this feature! Below these boxes you will find my most recent posts.

MBL IntroAs a handy tool {because we all love handy}, my designer installed a “blog” tab in the navigation bar. Click the “blog” tab to read all my posts in full. 😉 Mwah!

MBL Intro 3In the footer, you will notice my latest Instagram photos, Facebook like area and latest Pinterest pins. So fun!

That’s about it for the new tour! I hope you all enjoy easier browsing and reading.

Have a wonderful weekend, lovelies!

xoxo

Myra
