Easy Ham And Cheese Rolls
Happy Monday, y’all! I hope you had a great weekend! I’m excited to share a quick and easy recipe that my family has been enjoying for years. These warm ham and cheese rolls are like mini sandwiches and they are perfect for football season, receptions, brunch or whatever event you are hosting in the cooler weather. You can use any roll recipe or buy Sister Schubert’s ready to pop in the oven. Do whatever works for you!

Oh my word, these are SO GOOD!
Easy Ham And Cheese Rolls
- 1 pan “ready-to-serve” rolls {I made my own rolls using this delicious roll recipe by my friend Christy Jordan. If you haven’t made these, you are missing out. BIG time. 😉 }
- 10 oz. ham slices {I use leftover ham sometimes.}
- 10 oz. cheese slices {white cheddar, swiss or mozzarella are great!}
- Mayonnaise
- 1 stick butter, melted
- 1 1/2 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon Bragg’s liquid aminos {or Worcestershire sauce}
- 1 tablespoon poppy seeds
- Dash of onion powder and garlic powder
Make mini sandwich rolls with very light mayo, ham and cheese. Place in baking dish.
Whisk mustard, liquid aminos, poppy seeds, onion powder and garlic powder into melted butter. Then spoon or pour butter mixture over sandwich rolls. Warm at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
Serve and enjoy! 🙂
We recently served these rolls at my parent’s 35th anniversary celebration and they were a real hit! Yum!
What is your favorite kind of warm sandwich for this time of year?

These look so yummy. I have been thinking of that roll recipe for a while. Maybe I should finally make those rolls with this recipe. I am curious though, the rolls call for shortening, which I do not use. Did you happen to substitute butter for the shortening, and if so, did it work well?
I always use butter and it works just fine! 🙂 I’m lazy and just throw it all into my food processor for it to cut in the butter.
Ooo. I’m all about some good bread. I will have to try these rolls!!
A friend brought these to me last winter after I had surgery and they were sooooooo delicious!!! Thanks for the reminder…it’s getting chilly in Michigan and these would be yummy to make again!
