Easy Sautéed Green Beans
Hey, y’all! We are loving all the produce from our small, mostly grass-overgrown garden. My dad does most of the hard labor with weed removal and watering. But hey, I hung Japanese beetle traps and there are HUNDREDS in those bags. Bam! Dad gathered a bunch of small tender green beans the other day and I fixed them for lunch yesterday. Wow. Yum. I ate the whole pan all by myself, oh yes, I did.

Once I tell you how easy these pieces of deliciousness are to make, you’ll be either running to the garden, the farmer’s market, or the grocery store to get you some! 🙂
Easy Sautéed Green Beans
- Several handfuls of tender green beans
- 2 -3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 1 – 1 1/2 tablespoons organic coconut oil
- Real Salt to taste
- Herbamare to taste {this is the real key!}
Wash and snap stems off green beans.
Heat coconut oil over medium-high heat in a skillet. Add garlic and lightly brown. Then add green beans. Sprinkle with Real Salt and Herbamare. Cover skillet, but turn the green beans every few minutes until tender crisp. It took mine about 10 minutes. I don’t like them mushy. I like to still taste the garden in them. 😉
Enjoy!!
Who’s going to make this recipe for dinner tonight? It’s so easy and my boys even loved the green beans. I let them snitch a few off my plate. 😉

Sadly our green beans died this year. Thank goodness for an amazing local farmers market. I will definitely be trying this recipe this week!
