Jalapeño Popper Dip
I’ve been so excited to share my delicious Jalapeño Popper Dip appetizer with y’all! I created it a few weeks ago and it was a huge it. The bowl was scraped clean. 😉 If you’ve ever enjoyed amazing Jalapeño Poppers stuffed with cheese and wrapped in bacon, you will love this dip!
I love easy recipes that don’t have unusual ingredients or complicated steps. This dip appetizer is basically a “dump-it-in-the-crock-pot” recipe which is just my style. Even though we’re talking jalapeno peppers, my dip isn’t spicy because the peppers are de-veined and de-seeded. It’s just bursting with flavor, not heat.

Jalapeño Popper Dip
- 8 jalapeño peppers deseeded, deveined and diced
- 1 medium onion, diced
- 2 8 ounce packages cream cheese
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese or mexican cheese mix
- 2 oz chopped green chilies
- 8 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1 1/2 teaspoons brown sugar
- 2-3 dashes garlic powder
Saute jalapeño peppers and onion in olive oil or coconut oil. Add all ingredients into a small slow cooker set on warm. When cheese is softened {30 minutes or so}, mix all ingredients thoroughly. Make sure the dip doesn’t get too hot…just warm and melty.
Serve with crackers or tortilla chips.
Enjoy!
What’s your favorite type of appetizer dip to make?

Yum! Would be perfect for when all my brother’s friends crash our house to work on their cars 🙂 I like that the peppers are slightly cooked, too, to take a little of the bite away.
