Cucumber Dill Tea Sandwiches
Hey, hey! We love this super easy Cucumber Dill Tea Sandwich recipe. It’s a perfect addition for baby showers, wedding showers, receptions and other parties.
Yumminess!
Cucumber Dill Tea Sandwiches
- 1 8 oz. package cream cheese, softened
- 1 Tablespoon mayonnaise
- 1/4 teaspoon dill weed
- 1/4 teaspoon real salt
- 2-3 cucumbers, washed, peeled, sliced
- 1 loaf sandwich bread
- Extra dill for garnish
Beat cream cheese until smooth. Add mayo, dill weed and real salt and mix.
Cut circles out of loaf bread with a round cookie or biscuit cutter. Spread with cream cheese mixture. Add a cucumber slice and garnish with fresh dill.
Chill and serve within 1-2 hours to prevent soggy bread.
Enjoy!

Delish!
They look yummi. You can try the following. Prepare everything, spread the mixture on the bread. Cut the cucumbers and put them in a collander, so any liquid can drop off. Just before serving put the slices on the sandwiches. It gives you a bit more time before they start to get soggy.

I made these sandwiches for my son’s graduation open house a few years ago and just last week for his wedding reception.
I use pretty much the same recipe but I soak the sliced cucumbers in a mixture of rice vinegar and just a little sugar for about 20 or 30 minutes before assembling the sandwiches.
I found it adds just another layer of flavor that is quite yummy.

Awesome design. How do you get the cucumber cut to make that wavy design?
Thanks for your comment, Melissa! I used a crinkle veggie cutter. They are so fun! 🙂
Ok this is my first time trying this sandwich. I haven’t decided which ingredients to use? With cream cheese and dill weed or butter and cucumber is the other one. My sister and I are hosting a bridle shower for our sister in-law and we just want to make sure she’s happy. Remember a happy bride makes happy sister in-laws! Thanks.
