I’m so excited to announce that the 30 Day Giving Challenge 2011 begins tomorrow on November 1st! I’ve participated in the 30 Day Giving Challenge for the last two years. In 2009, I simply recorded my give each day. Last year was HUGE as I collaborated with other bloggers to give in a big way through the beauty of social media.
This year is a bit different. It is an opportunity for all the 30 Day Givers to shine!
Bloggers – you can link up your own post about the 30-Day Giving Challenge on different websites throughout the month of November. The first opportunity for that will be at the Saving and Giving site on Tuesday. You can challenge your readers to think of ways to give, begin brainstorming your own ideas for giving, or share what you have done for the past giving challenges. You can find additional information about weekly link-up opportunities on the Blogger Info Page.
Don’t worry one bit if you’re not a blogger. You can leave a comment with how you’re giving on each weekly post too.
I will be sharing ideas for giving each day on the 30-Day Giving Challenge Facebook page. Be sure to “like” the 30-Day page so you can stay up-to-date on these wonderful ideas. Also check out ways to give over on the 30-Day Giving website. There is even a printable calendar to help you get organized!
I wholeheartedly encourage you to join us. Include your kids. Teach them to give.
This giving revolution changed my life and the way that I think.
