Spring Paper Banner {For Under $5!}

by Myra Hope

Good morning and Happy Monday! I hope y’all had a great weekend. Ours was busy and it snowed all day on Saturday…not a single flake stuck. Ha! I decided to begin working on some Spring decorating because I’m so ready for warmer weather! I created a Spring Paper Banner that is so easy and inexpensive to make. It turned out so cute!

Love it! And I made it in 30 minutes or less. Yes!

Supplies Needed:

  • Scrapbook paper
  • String or twine
  • Glue {I used a glue gun.}
  • Scissors
  • Clothespins, optional

Cut random pennants from the scrapbook paper. I cut mine so they are double sided….folded on the top, so they can hang over the twine.

Slide the pennants over the twine and glue them in place. I glued mine at the “seam” to hold the twine in place and I glued the pennants closed. Easy peasy! I had a few mini clothespins on hand, so I added them to the banner at random. :)

And you’re done! I’m working on my Spring Mantel this week. Can’t wait to show you! :)

Have you started decorating for Spring yet? Have a fabulous Monday!

xoxo

Myra

Your banner is so cute and springy! I am so ready for spring and warm weather. My daffodils are starting to bloom and that is making me think spring is right around the corner but we are supposed to get a snow storm in 2 days! Can’t wait for warmer weather.

Wonderful spring paper banner, It’s so cute at same time easy to make and inexpensive also. Thanks for sharing these great ideas of decorating homes. I have decorated my home with colored vases with flowers, spunky patterned pillows and rugs and created a casual living room that sings spring and brims with juicy citrus colors.

Thank you for taking the time to inspire us with all these lovely projects! I just had to pop on and comment how green, blue, and yellow have been my favorite color combination since I’ve been a little girl.

That is so cute!! I actually used this for my Son’s birthday :)

Myra do you think you could talk about some home decor stuff?
Recently I’ve been looking to buy some rugs.. do you or anybody know any sites to check out? Rugman.com seemed pretty good.. has anyone ever used it?
