My mom made this fabulous Strawberry Pie a couple of weeks ago. I didn’t eat any myself, but this pie received rave reviews and I’m excited to share the easy recipe with you!
Strawberry Pie
- Fresh Strawberries
- 1 baked 8-9″ pie crust
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 3 T. corn starch
- pinch of salt
- 4 T. strawberry flavored gelatin
- Whipped cream
Mix sugar, water, cornstarch and salt and cook until thick — about five minutes. Remove from heat and add 4 tablespoons strawberry gelatin. Put as many berries as you like in piecrust and pour mixture over berries in pie. Serve with whipped cream.
Enjoy this cool, wonderful, delicious dessert!
