Petite Trifles Recipe

by Myra on March 28, 2011

A few weeks ago I was brainstorming for a dessert for our church potluck dinner. I’ve shared my Chocolate-Strawberry Trifle here before, but I wanted to do something different!

I came up with Petite Trifles and oh wow, they were a huge hit!

Petite Trifles

  • 2 boxes brownie mixes
  • 2 large boxes chocolate pudding
  • 1 carton fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 carton whipped topping
  • Sliced almonds for garnish
  • Cups or parfait glasses {for the potluck I used plastic beverage cups}

Prepare brownie mixes like my Quick And Easy Gooey Brownies.  Prepare pudding.  Once everything is cooled, chilled and all that jazz, you’ll be ready to make the petite trifles.

Layer brownie, pudding and then repeat.  Top with strawberries.  Chill.

Before serving top with whipped topping and almonds.

Watch them get devoured right before your eyes! ;)

Enjoy!

These are PeRfEcT for chuch potluck! We eat a potluck lunch together every week after chuch, about 60 people usually stay. I never would have thought to make these. How far did this recipe go?

Looks divine! I love having little individual desserts which completely justified my purchase of the little footed trifle dishes from Wal Mart years ago! :)

sounds delicious!.. I was wondering if you might share something with me?..We currently live in Gadsden, however we will be moving toward the Cullman area and was wondering if you’d mind to share the name and location of your church. We will be looking for a good home church and where God would have us planted. Thanks so much!! :0)
