Our town recently had it’s downtown Christmas Open House. We really enjoyed wandering through antique shops, gift shops, clothing boutiques and home decor shops. Christmas was in the air! Each place had different appetizers and drinks. It was SO fun!
One of the places we visited was serving a cream cheese spread similar to this one. I knew I needed to try it at home. So I did. 
Few appetizers are as easy as Sweet Pepper Jelly & Cream Cheese Spread.
Sweet Pepper Jelly & Cream Cheese Spread
- 2 pkgs. cream cheese
- 1 jar sweet red pepper jelly
Open cream cheese carefully and place “blocks” of cream cheese side by side on a plate. Warm jelly in microwave until it is runny. Spread over cream cheese. This spread is best served at room temperature and with some yummy crackers.

That’s one of my favorites! Have you tried it with the green pepper jelly? We do the red & green side by side for a festive Christmas appetizer.
