This week I had several fails, but because I failed to write them down, I forgot the majority of them. Maybe it’s a good thing that I can’t remember them all. Ha! It might plunge me into the depths of despair. Not really…
In the last few weeks, I’ve fallen off the menu planning train. I typically don’t post my menu plan, but I do have a general plan before I grocery shopping. Sadly, it just hasn’t been happening as of late and I paid for it, literally, this week. Ouch.
One day, as I returned home from town, I gasped as I realized that I left the garage door 0pen for TWO hours! Oh my! I’m glad no one decided that they needed our bikes, bike trailer or lawn mower (that thing’s a piece of junk anyway!) while I was gone. Oops! Major fail!
Because of my failure to purchase laundry detergent recently, no laundry has been done for over a week. Yikes! Do you have any idea how bad a laundry room starts to smell with wet towels? That sour smell? Yuck! My laundry fail could have caused a national crisis, but since my husband has 30+ pairs of necessary undergarments the crisis was abated!
{Maybe he won’t read this post! Ha!}
On Wednesday, I wrote this Facebook status:
“Myra is such a dork. Don’t ask.
”
You know what happened? I can’t even remember what happened to inspire that status. Now that is dorky.
Disclosure: This is for my mom. She worries that I’m too hard on myself. (LOVE you Mom!) I write Friday Fails to “keep it real” in a tongue-in-cheek kind of way. I easily laugh at myself, so I hope that Friday Fails will help you do the same. Of course, you’re free to laugh at me too.
Also: I’m embarrassingly behind on replying to everyone’s comments and links. I’m playing catch up tomorrow, I promise!

Um, that would be a ‘yes’ to all three! lol It’s nice to know that there are actually others out there though so I’m not alone. This is definitely a club I would fit right in with.
(p.s. one of the main reasons I don’t always link up is because although I have tons of fails each week, by Friday I can’t always remember the exact details to make a post of them!)

I have been there with the laundry one and have done it with the trash too… we ran out of trash bags and it took me three days to get to the store to get them!!

Girl! Dotky and awkward is my whole life. I’ve learned to just revel in it any more. Heh. God made me this way, a gift of dorkiness! I’d love to hear your dorky story! So if you remember it, post an update.
You know what I did? I spent 4 hrs detailing the interior of the minivan, only to go through the automatic car wash with the rear vent windows open. Arrrgggh!
