Have you ever had a week of so many falling shorts? Um, I mean short fallings, failures, laughs, snorts, giggles, frustrations and all other various forms of emotional rollercoaster-ish-ness? {Yes, I just made up that word.}
Ahem. This was THAT week.
Insanity of all insanities.
I am crazy. Let it be known to the world.
Motherhood has done it to my brain. And my baby is only 16 months. I am scared.
- I forgot multiple times to buy my husband the-only-coffee-creamer-in-the world-worth-drinking – International Delight French Vanilla.
- I used Mary Kay sunscreen on Ridley which obviously didn’t have a very high SPF number since he looked like a lobster for three days. And I didn’t use any at all. Oops. Lesson learned…as I peel layer after layer of skin off my neck. Ick.
- I forgot to pack some very important items for my trip today. Major fail.
- I wore my workout shoes to the barn this week and got man-ur-e’ on them. Must. clean. them. Yuck!
- Last but not least, I finally mailed out TWO giveaway items. Ahem. One month late. Major FAIL! I’m so thankful for two very gracious readers. God bless you both!

You are not alone! This week in particular has been extremely hard for me to get through! Every single day there is something knew that I have misplaced or forgotten…aka a “fail”! At least we have somewhere to share, so we know we are not alone…thanks!

You know, I know it is hard but sometimes we just have to laugh at ourselves and realize we are human, never perfect. Funny story:
We went to an amuzement park and I had every one in the family put on sunscrean only to realize later it was sunless tanning lotion, ooops!
Needless to say it looked aweful on everyone, but it sure was a good laugh.
Next week will be good because you got through this week!

Ahh sunscreen! I had my nephews here for a week and never even thought about sunscreen. I sent them home as red as lobsters. Thankfully my sister in law was fresh from a romantical week with her hubby and very understanding!

Brain failure is so common in mommyhood….during my last pregnancy, I once locked the keys in the van–with the ignition on–and completely drained the battery because even though I remembered 4 times that they were in there, I never held the thought in my head long enough to actually go get them.
Mommy brain is a truly frightening thing.

Nope, you’re not alone. There is something about those little people that drain everything out of you. I think it’s God’s way of making us appreciate our moms or maybe it’s just His sense of humor at work.
By the way, in case you have not noticed, I have not linked up lately. That does not mean I don’t have any fails to share. I just haven’t had the brains to put it together. How’s that for a major fail?
When I was pregnant with my first a nurse told me that with each pregnancy I would lose brain cells…3 kids later I can agree!
I have a 7 week old and feel like I have not slept in years! My ability to function sanely is greatly diminished.
