Today Ridley and I met a group of family and friends for a fabulous picnic lunch, once I made it to the right park (that story is coming tomorrow – fail) by the river. It was the most gorgeous day – the breeze was perfect and the air was cool.

My heart needed the cleansing – the refreshing – of being outside by the river, with the amazing breeze, beautiful sunshine and wonderful fellowship. It was a truly glorious, inspiring three hours!

Looks so fun!! I love the collage of pictures! Now that we live in the north, I get very excited when we can take a walk outside (rather than on the treadmill). I just feel more invigorated after breathing in the fresh air!! Have a great night! =)

What a wonderful way to spend the day.
I love just being in the backyard with my son. We play “soccer goal”, base-golf (golfing with a baseball and bat) and wave at buses driving by.

Beautiful pictures and what a fun day! My kids (1 and 3) LOVE going to the park for playtime and picnic lunches. As a SAHM, I plan on spending a lot of time there this summer!

Beautiful! We are so ready for some warm weather. But even with the chilly spring, we love spending time at the park. I loved your description of the outdoors cleansing your soul… I had a similar experience on a family walk last week!

Looks like you all had a lovely day! I think my favorite activity this time of year is just being outside in the yard with my dog, cleaning stuff up, looking at the flowers as they are beginning to bud and bloom, enjoying the green grass.
