Our Favorite Go-To Dinner Menu

My favorite way to cook is fast, easy and delicious!  This meal brings it all!  Not to mention that I lurve my crockpot…dinner just got really easy!

Our favorite “go-to” dinner menu…

  • Slow Cooker Chicken Breasts — Place chicken breasts in slow cooker with salt, a little butter, a little water, McCormick’s Roasted Garlic and Herb GrillMates Seasoning. Cook on low for about 6 hours.
  • Oven Roasted Sweet Potatoes — Wash and slice potatoes, place in baking dish with a dash of salt and sprinkle with olive oil (and honey, if you like that). Bake for 30-40 minutes on 400 degrees or until soft.
  • Oven Roasted Vegetables — We love zucchini, yellow squash, red onion, eggplant and mushrooms. I always add minced garlic as well. Place all veggies in baking dish. Sprinkle with salt and olive oil. Cover with aluminum foil. Bake at 400 degrees for 20-30 minutes depending on how crisp or “done” you prefer your vegetables!

I love how fast and easy this meal is. The chicken is always super tender and juicy. Enjoy!

  2. [...] I always try to have a lot of fresh fruit and veggies on hand. These make a quick, easy, and healthy side with little prep time or effort… no matter in what stage of pregnancy you are. And in our house, fruit or a simple spinach salad is always a welcome addition to any meal! If you prefer your veggies cooked, you could try asparagus sautéed in butter, sweet potato fries, or oven-roast those veggies. [...]
