The County Fair
A couple of weeks ago, my family and I went to the county fair. It was so much fun, but when the sun went down, it got chilly! The most fun was watching my 20 year old brother experience the fair for the first time...poor, deprived child, he was. Ha! At this point, I was cold, tired and ready to go home. Ridley, on the other hand, was ready to party...obviously! Notice anything "wrong" in this photo? Ernie and Ridley enjoyed a funnel ...

So, I reverted to my childhood and created a homemade Fall leaf banner... Isn't it adorable?! This craft is both kid-friendly and Fall ...
Pumpkin Crunch Cake
As soon as I saw this recipe for Pumpkin Crunch Cake in a church cookbook, I knew I had to try it. I'm so pleased with how it turned out {my husband's palate was even more impressed!} and with how easy it is to make! Wow. Now, I never said that this cake was healthy because, like any good dessert recipe, it contains a lot of sugar and butter... What is your favorite pumpkin recipe?
