Happy Friday! 🙂 I hope y’all have had a great week! I am SO excited to share with you how I’ve pumped our living room space up with color. My to-do list is not all crossed off in this space…my next project is crown moulding and baseboards. The last time you saw the living room was all the way back in the Christmas Home Tour. My, how time flies! Anyway, I thought I would show you how things have been looking in here lately.

I love color. I’m not afraid of color. And it just makes me SO happy!!!

The most significant change in the living room is the bright and happy pillows on my Memaw’s old Duncan Phyfe sofa. I love this piece of furniture. The shape is just stunning. I might get brave and have it reupholstered one day, but for now, I need the original fabric to stay…it’s an emotional thing. The other new item you might notice is the coffee table. It was a super deal at the ReStore and I painted it gold and took out the lower level piece of glass.

I always loved Memaw’s hanging gold lamp and I still love it. I also added a colorful green clock and my turquoise parrot who flitters around the house to different places.

Obviously, my passion for eclectic design and decorating hasn’t gone anywhere. It brings me so much joy to use what I have and add new items and salvaged items as well. Perfection.

Okay, more about the pillows…you won’t even believe this, but the pillows are from Tiny Prints! Who knew they had such adorable pillows? Not me. You can personalize them {with different colors and even with photos} to your heart’s content. The dotted pillows on the ends of the sofa both have Y monograms and the middle pillow could have had our name on it, but I didn’t want it to be super redundant, so I skipped that part.
