How To Easily Remove Oil-Based Stain & Paint {without chemicals}
Happy Friday, y’all! Did you have a good week? Mine was busy, but wonderful. We’ve been spending a lot of time together as a family. Last night we went bowling and I managed to bowl over 100 for two games! Woohoo! Ridley is learning to bowl without bumper guards. 🙂
A few weeks ago, when we were staining the doors for our bedroom, my husband got stain all over his hands. It was a mess as you can see. We don’t have Go-Jo on hand although it is my dad’s favorite thing ever. {haha!} We tried out Young Living Lemon essential oil and Thieves foaming hand soap. I was pretty surprised at how well this combination worked!

WOW!
We used lemon oil just like Go-Jo and then the Thieves hand soap. Then we repeated the process. And Ernie’s hands were as good as new…all without chemicals!
We are always looking for more natural ways to do things in our home, so I thought many of you might appreciate this helpful tip! Thankfully, Lemon oil and Thieves foaming hand soap are both very economical and cost-effective.
In case you missed it, I was part of a Detox Your Home blog series where we shared a lot of different homemade products you can make to help rid your home of toxins.

The barn door headboard tutorial is coming next week, so stay tuned! 🙂

Good to know!! Thanks for sharing Myra. I am in a believer in the power of Thieves ever since I cleaned my dirty oven with the Thieves Cleaner and NO AWFUL FUMES. I used to just gag and wheeze whenever I cleaned my oven with oven cleaner. I would put off cleaning it for that very reason. Now I have no excuses.:)
