10 Fabulous Solutions For A Pesky Window Over Your Bed
Happy Friday, y’all! I’m starting to feel human again after not getting much rest during the first 2/3 of May. I slept for NINE hours last night!! 🙂 I mentioned that we’ve been working on our bedroom. It is looking SO good! My main “issue” with the bedroom is that there is a window over the bed. There are no other options for bed placement, so I had to come up with a solution. I love the light, but it’s challenging to make a window over the bed a great focal point. Ha!
I did some research and found some great ideas for making that pesky window over the bed much more interesting. And let me tell ya, we created the most rockin’ awesome solution EVER for our room. Ahhhh!
This bedroom makes my heart go pitter pat. The bamboo shades and the mirror are lovely for privacy and they create a great backdrop for the bed.

I love this simple pole with pleated curtain panels over the bed.
Of course you could just leave the window open and clad the wall with salvaged wood!
Or build a simple cornice and hang draperies to pull closed.

You could go all fancy shmancy and swag things up a bit.
I know this is the same concept as the first idea, but I LOVE the symmetry of this room. And the fabrics. Ahh! For the love of all things beautiful, please always, always mount curtain rods high and wide. Your windows and walls will thank you. 🙂
I love the simplicity of the shaped cornice and drapes.

And sheet pleated draperies with a chunky headboard and a large plant works too. I’m kind of in love with the tribal feel of this bed.
Never underestimate the power of creating a focal wall for your bed. The shelves around the window create a faux headboard feel for this bedroom. I love the striped Roman shade on the window as well.
Although this is similar to some of the above ideas, I LOVE the wall of draperies with the bamboo shade on the window. What a simple, but huge statement!
And the solution that we created for our room isn’t like any of these inspiration ideas…at all. I know you’re dying to see. SOON!

I can’t wait to see what you’ve done with your room! Our bedroom is very tiny with two windows, one in each corner of the room. One of them is over the right side of the bed. I am completely stumped with that one!

Wow nothing creative. Or pretty.
Fortunately, the Internet gives us great opportunities. You can find a lot of cool ideas for creating the interior of your dreams. I have already saved the idea of sliding glass doors22 for myself and I want to implement it as soon as possible
In fact, the window above the bed looks just amazing in the interior. It is very important to choose the window correctly, so that it does not blow, I advise you to pay attention to these options https://blueskywindows.com.au/double-glazed-windows/ . And also buy good, thick curtains that will not let light in at night
