Woodsy Glam Christmas Mantel
Happy Monday, beautiful friends! I hope you had a nice weekend! Ours was dreary and drizzly…a perfect one for decorating for Christmas in the South. 🙂 I know a lot of folks have had ice and snow. I hope you are all well and safe.
I am SO excited to show you my “Woodsy Glam” Christmas Mantel. Yes, I totally coined that term and it perfectly suits my style and theme for Christmas this year. I am in. love. with this theme. It is quirky and fun and fits so well in this little cottage in the hollow.

Love. love. love.
Did I mention that I love how it came together? 🙂 I really like the bling of the gold bells, the globe lights and the starburst mirror in contrast with the plaid banner, burlap and kitted stockings.
I used mostly what I had already had on hand for the mantelscape. My dad had some trees trimmed, so there’s an excess of wood around. Even though the fireplace has a gas logs insert, I added wood to the basket because I think it’s quite cozy. 🙂
I found the faux garland at a local shop and the amazing mercury glass globe lights at Target. They are so pretty.
The burlap stockings are from Shop24. My friend Lisa sent them to me last year. They are my favorite! I ordered the plaid rosettes from lccsuplies. I love the extra detail they provide to the stockings.
This chair was my Memaw’s. If I remember correctly, she rocked her babies in this rocker. This is such a cozy spot by the fire.
I’m going to show you later this week how I made my plaid pennant banner. It is so easy and fun to make! I also used two funky iron reindeer that I’ve had for a few years…found at the thrift store.
This deer is my favorite. He’s so quirky and fun. I stacked him on my old kitchen scale and a reclaimed wood block from Southern Accents.
And here’s the mantel with the lights on. Christmas lights are so cozy and warm.

That’s a wrap on this year’s Christmas mantel! My goal was to keep things pretty simple, so I didn’t go over the top with putting things on the mantel. I just wanted to let the garland, lights and the other few things shine.
What do you think about my woodsy glam theme this year? I’m sure it’s not for everyone, but we are loving it this year! I’m so excited to show you more of our home decorated for Christmas later this week! 🙂
xoxo
