CeCe Caldwell’s Paint Giveaway

Yay for Friday! It’s been a busy week and I’m super excited for the weekend. I’m slowly recovering from Blissdom which was an incredible experience. I’m hoping to share more about that experience next week.

Today, I’m ridiculously excited to share more about the fabulous CeCe Caldwell’s chalk clay paint that I used on my yellow pedestal table makeover!

I love that CeCe Caldwell’s paints have no VOCs, no acrylic co-polymers, formaldehyde, ammonia or toxic heavy metals. The chalk clay paints are Eco-friendly, naturally green and safe for children and pregnant mommas. Booyah!

One of my favorite features is that the paint is self-priming. You can immediately start painting once the surface is clean and one to two coats generally give complete coverage. The wax is ridiculously easy to apply and buff and I love that clean up is as simple as using warm soapy water.

Check out all the colors that CeCe Caldwell’s paint is available in. So many options!!

Donna from Doozie’s Corner blogs about her CeCe Caldwell’s paint projects as well as selling the paint. Today, she’s giving away a quart of paint and a sample wax, and five sample paints {winner’s choice of colors!} to a My Blessed Life reader!

  1. Oh I love your yellow side table and I am planning on doing the same technique on my dresser when we move in a couple weeks. So excited to start the project. Winning the paint will make it happen that much sooner and help us put money into the home we’re buying. =D
Lesley´s last blog post ..Tasty Tuesday: Red Velvet Chocolate Cookies

  2. First thing that comes to mind would be to use the paint on an armoire to go in my craft room and I am sure many other projects in the future. Thanks

  3. Loved the side table makeover!! The yellow was so pretty. Would love to try this paint!

  4. Would LOVE some of her paint! I got married 3 months ago, and I’m in the process of trying to turn much of my husband’s “man-cave furniture” into something acceptable for our home together. I’d probably get to work on the coffee table with this.

  5. Destin gulf green for my “dining table”. I live in a nadrment apartment and use an old TV stand as a table for two in n the hall area. I will prop it up with bricks that will be unseen and the green ties in with the artwork above, blend with the lving furniture just a few feet away and gives me anotion to take a color risk! 🙂

  6. I would love to give this paint a try!
I have a vintage Davis Cabinet China Hutch Top that is screaming for paint! I use it as a display piece/flat screen stand. This would be the perfect opportunity to give it the facelift and new life it deserves!

  7. What a great giveaway! Would love to win! I have many projects planned, and this would come in so handy. Especially like that it is eco-friendly and doesn’t put off smelly, harmful fumes. 🙂

  8. I so want to try this chalk paint! I bought an old dresser at a thrift store about a month ago that I would love to redo.

  9. I would love some of CeCe’s paint. It comes in so many gorgeous colors!!! I love that it would be safe to use in my home, especially around my 2 year old daughter!

  10. I would love to use this on a table for my bedroom or perhaps a sofa table (I’m searching for one) for my living room! So many possibilities 😉 Thanks for the awesome giveaway!!!!

  11. What a great idea………. friendly paint……….love it. I just moved a couple of months ago and have much more space…several projects going. Working on a buffet, have a couple of side tables yet to do and oh yes, my bed…….. I don’t have children, but the eco-friendly paint is wonderful…….to many toxic things around. Have had bladder cancer and not breathing fumes is a plus………..I will try the paint if I win or not, thanks for all of your great projects and information!

  12. There is a project that I have that is dying to be made! It is a union jack painted on a thrift store chest which I am to convert into a tea cabinet! I would love to use their paints. I liked them on Facebook as well.

  13. I can’t even tell you how awesome this is!!! I love, love, love the idea of non-toxic paint, as I’m chemically sensitive to most paints and their fumes. (who isn’t, really? I’m just obviously sensitive.) If I don’t win anything I will still keep this info for future notice because it’s an awesome find. I love all of the colors on the palette shown! I esp. like the Santa Fe Turquoise, and would use it on either some kitchen pieces/chairs, or in a guest bedroom for side table or dresser.

  14. Liked Doozie’s on Facebook. The other thing that I could do with the paint is the Nursery project of three paintings with die cut images pasted on top (on wood) for my best friend! Thanks for the opportunity 🙂

  15. I would love to try this paint for a buffet my husband is building me for our dinning room! The paint /wax combo sounds just wonderful!!

  16. I working on turning the nursery into a little girls room. These colors would look great on the chair and table or storage crates we are making for her.

  17. I have two bedroom dressers that are similar in style, but are not of the same wood. I would love to use CeCe Caldwell’s non-toxic paints to update and match the look of these 2 babies so that my bedroom can stop looking like a thrift shop and more like a grownup’s space! ;O)

  18. Would love to try the new chalk/clay paint. I have a hutch and would love to try the Hershey Bar Brown for the outside and a color like Memphis Blue for the inside.

  19. I love your yellow table, and I’ve been reading lots about chalk paint from Pinterest. I would love to try it on my little pantry cabinet in the kitchen or my dresser in my bedroom. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

  20. I found a lovely “French style” server on craig’s list for next to nothing recently. I want to paint it, probably a soft antique green, which I think will be the perfect color in my red dining room. I have quite an array of furniture in our garage which I intend to paint. I have not yet begun to paint anything and my dear husband is afraid I will not garner the confidence to paint large projects. Winning this paint, and buying more as the piece is large, would more or less force me to begin!

  21. Would love to spruce up the table that we have in our entryway with some of that gorgeous chalk paint! Thanks for the chance!

  22. Ooooo Weeeee! I really need this paint! I’ve been searching for chalk paint where I live in Missouri…none to be found! Thanks so much for the chance to win some! Bless you darlin’!

  23. As soon as you posted your table I checked out the paint and read everything I could about the products you used. It gave me an idea for making over a sewing table that we use in the master bath and giving our daughter toddler rocker a fresh look as well. What a joy it would be to win!!!! God bless.

  24. I would like to paint our dining room table and add a couple benches instead of the chairs.

  27. Ooooohhhh! LOVE! I’ve been wanting to paint my boring fake fireplace/heater thingy I bought a long time ago. It’s plain ole white and I think she would be absolutely gorgeous in Smokey Mountain! And loved your table too!

  28. My bedroom furniture desperately needs a face-lift. I would love to try this chalk paint.

  29. I have an old 1950’s speaker that my husband’s grandfather gave us that we use as a side table. But it’s skuffed and the wood is in bad shape and I am just dying to paint it a fun color! This would be great to win!

  30. I would love to try the chalk paint. I have bathroom cabinets I would love to paint grey and a desk that I would like to try in a bright green. Thank you for the opportunity.

  31. I have so many pieces of furniture that I would love to redo! Winning would be a jumping point to try!

  32. These paints look amag! I would use the Antique White on a large coffee table that’s been sitting in our garage for over a year. It needs so much help. And since it’s so large, a light color is just the thing for it. Love the way your yellow table turned out!

  33. I refinish all sorts of wood furniture… working on something for a friend as I type this message! I am certain it would not be hard to find something else in need of a makeover 🙂

  38. I have a blah front room, all the same color tones and would love to paint a piece of furniture in there to add a bright pop of color. I have been inspired by your yellow table! My table is a little bigger and in a dark wood color now so I might add a splash of Maine Harbor Blue paint! So happy to read about this product line. It is all new to me.

  45. I love the look of this amazing paint. We are in the midst of building a little cabin in which I would like to put pieces of furniture that I have collected over the years and now need to be “renewed” in an “old” way. Would love to use this paint to accomplish that.
I am so blessed by your website. A new recipient. Thank you for doing this.

  46. The REAL question is what WOULDN’T I paint!!!
What I love about this paint is that we have an African Grey parrot in the house, so doing any type of painting is pretty much a no-no due to their super sensitive circulatory sysems. I would feel much more comfortable using a product like this than other types of paint! Fingers crossed!!!

  47. I have a lovely yard store find – a pie cabinet. But it needs to be refinished. CeCe’s paint would make it look wonderful!

  48. I have a huge test tomorrow that I have been studying for now for THREE MONTHS! I’ve been restraining myself from repainting our desk. I have big colorful dreams for our office, so I would use the paint for a huge revamp 🙂

  57. Wow Love Love Love the color selection of these CeCe Caldwell paints. I have tried Annie Sloan chalk paint and found chalk paint to be the best invention ever! I am so itching to paint my kitchen cabinets and think chalk paint would be the way to go……no sanding no priming just instant Voila!!! Thanks for letting me know about these awesome paints I will definitely get the word out!

  58. I have been wanting to make some kind of a natural picture using leaves and painting around them just leaving the negative if you would. These colors are so pretty.

  59. I am trying to find a way to buy this wonderful paint in Canada or on-line and cannot seem to find a place. Can you direct me to somewhere or someone that I could buy it from?
    Thank you

    1. @Bernice, Hi Bernice, I can ship the paint to you! email me and let me know what you are wanting and I can send you a paypal invoice. I’ll check and get the best shipping rates for you! You will love this paint! So easy to use! Thanks a ton, Donna

      1. @Donna Haile, Sorry I sent a separate email again to you. (Didn’t realize I could do it right here). Do you have prices for this paint and could I get some samples sent with an order to see what other colors might look good for some pieces I have. Thanks again.
Where would they have to be shipped from. I live in the country in Alberta.

        1. @Bernice, Yes Bernice I do sell samples for $6.95 and wax samples for $10.95. The paint sells for $32.95 a quart. I would ship from Abilene, Texas. Send me your zip code and I can check shipping rates! Thanks a ton, Donna

        2. @Bernice, HI Donna,
My postal code is T0C 1M0 (in Canada). I would like a quart of the white and a can of wax. I would also like samples of Mesa Sunset, Alaska Tundra Green and Georgia Clay. Not sure where to go from here. You can let me know.

  61. I would do my coffee table and end tables that are in desperate need of repainting. Will be hard to pick the colors!

  62. oooooooooh!! Chalkboard Paint! I have always wanted to paint a large board for each of my children to put in their room, or on their door for messages and the like. I’ve never done it because I wanted something other than black. I KNOW Martha Stewart has a chaldboard paint but their just isn’t room in the budget for that much of an extravagance. Hmmmmm. I might rethink all of this now!
Thank you for the post. And for the other post showing what you have done with this paint!!
    -Carol

  64. I have two mid-century end-tables that I have had…..just waiting! I want to paint them to use as nightstands in our bedroom….think that’s the perfect place for them!
I’d LOVE to use the chalk paints on them……willing to try something new for these!!

  65. We are making more storage in our kitchen with different size boxes and some rope that will hang on the wall ( I found the idea in a magizine). Looks like some great paint colors to decorate the boxes. I’d love to send you a picture of our finished product. You are such an inspiration to me.

  66. Oh, I’ve so wanted to try chalk paint! I have both a grandfather clock and small music cabinet that I want to paint.

  67. Thank you for getting back to me about buying the paint. I am not sure what color I need to go with. I would definitely use a can of white and the wax but am looking at perhaps a muted green or the orange color. Not sure if the color sample is a true color. WOuld you say it is.
Thanks again. Once I know what colors I am looking at I will go from there. Do you have any suggestions as to what colors look best. My colors in my cabin are going to be quite earthy and in my house are rustic.

  68. Just reading the names of the paints — California Sun Yellow — takes me to a whole ‘nother time and place !! Would love to use this to make a new toy box look old !! My grandchildren think that;s wierd — why do you want it to look old ?!?!?! 🙂

  128. I’m about to start painting some new picture frames for my daughters. Would love to win this giveaway!!!

  129. I have a free-standing cabinet in my bathroom that needs some serious paint work. I love that this paint is so safe! We have been looking for something like this!

  130. I might have to add something to my “collection” to try it out on. For years I stripped paint from furniture, so it’s kind of interesting to see the styles come full circle. Thanks for the chance to win!

  131. I would have a hard time NOT finding something to paint! My husband is afraid if he stands still for too long, that I will paint him : )

  132. I have a garage full of projects! But I most want to try it on an old cabinet I’m wanting to put in my sewing/craft room

  133. I found a 1890 East Lake four drawer dresser at the Re Store salvage for 25.00 dollars. I am in love with the craftsmanship and amazed at how well it has held up for its age. It is in need of love and paint. I’m excited to use a product that is American made and safe for the environment. I look forward to bringing this dresser back to its former glory.
