CeCe Caldwell’s Paint Giveaway
Yay for Friday! It’s been a busy week and I’m super excited for the weekend. I’m slowly recovering from Blissdom which was an incredible experience. I’m hoping to share more about that experience next week.
Today, I’m ridiculously excited to share more about the fabulous CeCe Caldwell’s chalk clay paint that I used on my yellow pedestal table makeover!
I love that CeCe Caldwell’s paints have no VOCs, no acrylic co-polymers, formaldehyde, ammonia or toxic heavy metals. The chalk clay paints are Eco-friendly, naturally green and safe for children and pregnant mommas. Booyah!
One of my favorite features is that the paint is self-priming. You can immediately start painting once the surface is clean and one to two coats generally give complete coverage. The wax is ridiculously easy to apply and buff and I love that clean up is as simple as using warm soapy water.
Check out all the colors that CeCe Caldwell’s paint is available in. So many options!!
Donna from Doozie’s Corner blogs about her CeCe Caldwell’s paint projects as well as selling the paint. Today, she’s giving away a quart of paint and a sample wax, and five sample paints {winner’s choice of colors!} to a My Blessed Life reader!

Oh I love your yellow side table and I am planning on doing the same technique on my dresser when we move in a couple weeks. So excited to start the project. Winning the paint will make it happen that much sooner and help us put money into the home we’re buying. =D

Loved the side table makeover!! The yellow was so pretty. Would love to try this paint!
Would LOVE some of her paint! I got married 3 months ago, and I’m in the process of trying to turn much of my husband’s “man-cave furniture” into something acceptable for our home together. I’d probably get to work on the coffee table with this.

Destin gulf green for my “dining table”. I live in a nadrment apartment and use an old TV stand as a table for two in n the hall area. I will prop it up with bricks that will be unseen and the green ties in with the artwork above, blend with the lving furniture just a few feet away and gives me anotion to take a color risk! 🙂
I’m wanting to paint a secretary desk. Georgia Clay looks like an awesome color for it.
I would love to give this paint a try!
I have a vintage Davis Cabinet China Hutch Top that is screaming for paint! I use it as a display piece/flat screen stand. This would be the perfect opportunity to give it the facelift and new life it deserves!

What a great idea………. friendly paint……….love it. I just moved a couple of months ago and have much more space…several projects going. Working on a buffet, have a couple of side tables yet to do and oh yes, my bed…….. I don’t have children, but the eco-friendly paint is wonderful…….to many toxic things around. Have had bladder cancer and not breathing fumes is a plus………..I will try the paint if I win or not, thanks for all of your great projects and information!
How exciting to think about a re-do for my diningroom hutch and corner cabinet. That’s what would get the makeover. Thank you for hosting this great giveaway.

There is a project that I have that is dying to be made! It is a union jack painted on a thrift store chest which I am to convert into a tea cabinet! I would love to use their paints. I liked them on Facebook as well.
I can’t even tell you how awesome this is!!! I love, love, love the idea of non-toxic paint, as I’m chemically sensitive to most paints and their fumes. (who isn’t, really? I’m just obviously sensitive.) If I don’t win anything I will still keep this info for future notice because it’s an awesome find. I love all of the colors on the palette shown! I esp. like the Santa Fe Turquoise, and would use it on either some kitchen pieces/chairs, or in a guest bedroom for side table or dresser.
I am now following Doozie’s Corner on FB.

I working on turning the nursery into a little girls room. These colors would look great on the chair and table or storage crates we are making for her.
Perfect for our new grand baby furniture!
I have two bedroom dressers that are similar in style, but are not of the same wood. I would love to use CeCe Caldwell’s non-toxic paints to update and match the look of these 2 babies so that my bedroom can stop looking like a thrift shop and more like a grownup’s space! ;O)
Would love to try the new chalk/clay paint. I have a hutch and would love to try the Hershey Bar Brown for the outside and a color like Memphis Blue for the inside.
Paint an old armoire.
I love your yellow table, and I’ve been reading lots about chalk paint from Pinterest. I would love to try it on my little pantry cabinet in the kitchen or my dresser in my bedroom. Thanks for the opportunity to win!

I found a lovely “French style” server on craig’s list for next to nothing recently. I want to paint it, probably a soft antique green, which I think will be the perfect color in my red dining room. I have quite an array of furniture in our garage which I intend to paint. I have not yet begun to paint anything and my dear husband is afraid I will not garner the confidence to paint large projects. Winning this paint, and buying more as the piece is large, would more or less force me to begin!

As soon as you posted your table I checked out the paint and read everything I could about the products you used. It gave me an idea for making over a sewing table that we use in the master bath and giving our daughter toddler rocker a fresh look as well. What a joy it would be to win!!!! God bless.
I would like to paint our dining room table and add a couple benches instead of the chairs.

These paints look amag! I would use the Antique White on a large coffee table that’s been sitting in our garage for over a year. It needs so much help. And since it’s so large, a light color is just the thing for it. Love the way your yellow table turned out!

I have a side table I would love to paint!
The REAL question is what WOULDN’T I paint!!!
What I love about this paint is that we have an African Grey parrot in the house, so doing any type of painting is pretty much a no-no due to their super sensitive circulatory sysems. I would feel much more comfortable using a product like this than other types of paint! Fingers crossed!!!
I have a lovely yard store find – a pie cabinet. But it needs to be refinished. CeCe’s paint would make it look wonderful!
Now a Facebook fan!
I would paint a nightstand in my daughters room

Thank you
@Bernice, Hi Bernice, I can ship the paint to you! email me and let me know what you are wanting and I can send you a paypal invoice. I’ll check and get the best shipping rates for you! You will love this paint! So easy to use! Thanks a ton, Donna
@Donna Haile, Sorry I sent a separate email again to you. (Didn’t realize I could do it right here). Do you have prices for this paint and could I get some samples sent with an order to see what other colors might look good for some pieces I have. Thanks again.
Where would they have to be shipped from. I live in the country in Alberta.
@Bernice, Yes Bernice I do sell samples for $6.95 and wax samples for $10.95. The paint sells for $32.95 a quart. I would ship from Abilene, Texas. Send me your zip code and I can check shipping rates! Thanks a ton, Donna
@Bernice, HI Donna,
My postal code is T0C 1M0 (in Canada). I would like a quart of the white and a can of wax. I would also like samples of Mesa Sunset, Alaska Tundra Green and Georgia Clay. Not sure where to go from here. You can let me know.

Oh, perfect timing – I was just thinking about this paint last night. I have a dresser in our bedroom that is in desperate need of an update – D.E.S.P.E.R.A.T.E., I tell you!! 🙂 I’m bookmarking this page anyway, just in case I don’t win 😉
I would do my coffee table and end tables that are in desperate need of repainting. Will be hard to pick the colors!
oooooooooh!! Chalkboard Paint! I have always wanted to paint a large board for each of my children to put in their room, or on their door for messages and the like. I’ve never done it because I wanted something other than black. I KNOW Martha Stewart has a chaldboard paint but their just isn’t room in the budget for that much of an extravagance. Hmmmmm. I might rethink all of this now!
Thank you for the post. And for the other post showing what you have done with this paint!!

I have a few projects in mind, but I’d start with the headboard/footboard I’ve started sanding away at!! This paint looks amazing!
I have two mid-century end-tables that I have had…..just waiting! I want to paint them to use as nightstands in our bedroom….think that’s the perfect place for them!
I’d LOVE to use the chalk paints on them……willing to try something new for these!!
I “liked” CeCe Caldwell on facebook, too!!!
We are making more storage in our kitchen with different size boxes and some rope that will hang on the wall ( I found the idea in a magizine). Looks like some great paint colors to decorate the boxes. I’d love to send you a picture of our finished product. You are such an inspiration to me.
Oh, I’ve so wanted to try chalk paint! I have both a grandfather clock and small music cabinet that I want to paint.
i would paint my front door. I love the color options.
Thank you for getting back to me about buying the paint. I am not sure what color I need to go with. I would definitely use a can of white and the wax but am looking at perhaps a muted green or the orange color. Not sure if the color sample is a true color. WOuld you say it is.
Thanks again. Once I know what colors I am looking at I will go from there. Do you have any suggestions as to what colors look best. My colors in my cabin are going to be quite earthy and in my house are rustic.
I have a child’s table and chairs that are in a ‘loud’ blue and red. They are begging for a makeover every time I walk by them! 🙂

I just recently became a fan of painting furniture when I began following you and saw CeCe’s paint on your site. I actually have three different projects that I’m excited to use her product on, but plan to start with a buffet-type table that is in great need of repair and lots of love. The paint and wax would be wonderful on this piece. I love that her paint is VOC-free (along with being free of other toxic chemicals) and is safe for my family. Thanks for offering this!
I would use CeCe’s paints to redo a Queen Anne Style side table that belonged to my Mother. It is a cherry finish now. I would use the Vintage White to blend with the other shades of white in my guest room. I would also use the same shade on a night stand that I am redoing by adding carved legs and removing the old campaign style hardware on it and using something more modern.

I have two awesome chairs that I bought at a yard sale for $10, and I plan to paint them in a lighter color or something fun (like turquoise or coral)! This paint would be perfect, since I’m still a novice at this stuff! 🙂
I would use it on my very dreary laundry room!

We have a vanity/desk my best friend gave my daughter when she was born, more than 21 years ago. It has been thru alot over the years and needs a make over desperately, we can’t just let it go, it means too much to my daughter. I would do it up in a turquoise shade for her. to match her brown and turquoise room.
I would love to try this paint and wax. I’d use it on dining room chairs to start.
I’ve got a night stand that needs some attention. 🙂 It’s the project I’ve been “meaning to get to” for a while now.
I would either use the paint on a set of chairs I have or on a old plate rack w/ a tin backing that I am turning into a headboard in my daughter’s room.

I’d paint a lamp base and a pictures frame I’m working on. THEN I’d try my hand at painting my mom and dad’s first bedroom dresser they got when they got married 40 years ago. It definitely needs some TLC!! 🙂 Great giveaway! I really hope I win!
I have a set of mismatched chairs for my porch that I love but they need a unifying color- this would be perfect!

I would actually split it between two projects – the first is table we have in the entry way. It’s pretty dull and could use something that screams, “Look at me!” I would then use the rest on the large dry-erase wall calendar I bought.

I’m heading into the guest bedroom with this paint (after I win) to try to salvage the old, worn bedroom set that really needs a new look.
I would love to use your paints to paint an oak and glass cabinet that has been in my family for years to give to my daughter who thinks it is ugly as it is. Thanks for the giveaway.
I really need to do something with my patio furniture. Some pretty paint should do the trick.
I would love to change up the color of the chairs that go with our kitchen table. The paint is chipping and looks terrible.

i am in the process of freshening up my living room, and i have a wood and upholstered rocking chair that has a plain wood stain right now, and avocado green upholstery (it’s a thrift find) that i want to redo. it will be really cute with some soft paint and some cheerful new fabric! frankly, i’ve never even heard of chalk paint before, and i paint quite a bit…i’m intrigued! so, that being said, choose me!

I have 3 projects I’m doing right now! Unfortunately, I’ve already bought and used the paint for 2 of them. SO… I would most definitely use CeCe’s paint on my last project… a new/old hutch for my kitchen!

Love the colours! Love the paint!
I might have to add something to my “collection” to try it out on. For years I stripped paint from furniture, so it’s kind of interesting to see the styles come full circle. Thanks for the chance to win!
I would have a hard time NOT finding something to paint! My husband is afraid if he stands still for too long, that I will paint him : )

I have a garage full of projects! But I most want to try it on an old cabinet I’m wanting to put in my sewing/craft room
I found a 1890 East Lake four drawer dresser at the Re Store salvage for 25.00 dollars. I am in love with the craftsmanship and amazed at how well it has held up for its age. It is in need of love and paint. I’m excited to use a product that is American made and safe for the environment. I look forward to bringing this dresser back to its former glory.
