Sanding and Caulking
Today, my Mom was so wonderful to watch Ridley for a couple of hours so I could sand the kitchen cabinets. I wore a mask and didn’t want my little man to be around to breathe the icky dust. I got a lot accomplished in two hours.
Stylin’…or not. I hate breathing through masks. So gross!
It took me a couple of days to get all the polyurethaned-on-hinges {yes, you read that correctly} and door pulls off. Why would someone do that?
So, what looked like this…
After this…
Making progress.
Woot!
I also was able to get some caulking done and I’m starting to see a little light at the end of a very long tunnel.
I’m so excited with how the breakfast area is going to turn out. I can’t wait to get a banquette built!
{happy squeal}
How is it that you look adorable in a construction mask? Seriously.
(Loving this site! Whoot!)
