Wisk Makeup Stain Experiment
In the last three months I’ve conducted stain experiments with grass {protein} stains and ketchup {carbohydrate} stains. Today I’m investigating oil stains. Oil stains include peanut butter and salad dressing, but they also include makeup items like lipgloss. So this morning I conducted a Wisk stain experiment with lipgloss.
Makeup stains and I have a love-hate relationship. I love using washcloths and towels to wipe my face and hands, but I hate how makeup stains seem to make my towels dingy.
Wisk Stain Spectrum detergent has once again come to the rescue!
For my experiment, I needed Wisk {of course}, a compact mirror, a towel and lip gloss. The makeup bag is a cute prop. 🙂
I heavily lathered up my lips with this very pale pink lip gloss {red would have worked better} and blotted my lips {read: kissed} on the towel. Do y’all do that in real life? I normally just use my finger to blot my lips. Ha!
To get out the pesky, dingy-causing stain, I pre-treated it with Wisk Stain Spectrum detergent.
After letting the pre-treatment work, I scrubbed and rinsed out the towel under lukewarm water.
Voila! As you can see, the stain is gone!
Wisk Stain Spectrum technology detergent has literally worked stain-removing wonders right before my eyes. I’m sold on the power of Wisk detergent!
Wisk comes in five stain-fighting detergents that all contain Wisk Stain Spectrum Technology! It doesn’t matter which type of stains you encounter, new Wisk with Stain Spectrum Technology is the solution to tackle them all!

I just started using Wisk, and it is amazing! It can even get out stains from my 1-year-old…and she’s pretty gifted when it comes to staining her clothes 🙂

Any suggestions for getting the makeup off my face before I get it on the towel? I use Revlon and it’s very stubborn to remove even with cleanser and the wet cloths!
@Becki Foster, Becki, I totally agree with Megan. I use lotion all the time to remove my makeup. It works marvelously. You can read more about it here: https://myblessedlife.net/2010/08/frugal-makeup-remover.html\
Blessings!
@Becki- Try using a quarter size amount worth of hand lotion and generously apply it to your face like you’re lathering soap. Let it sit for 30 sec. – 1 min. It might not get all of it but wash your face afterward and it should make it A LOT easier. I just use whatever hand lotion I have around and it works wonders. I don’t wear a lot of foundation, etc. but this is what I use to get my water proof mascara smudges off with after I shower and it’s about the only thing that will make it budge.

Thanks for the great suggestions! I’m older than you girls, (I have 3 grandchildren!) and I can’t stress enough how important it is to take care of your skin. I use sunscreen and didn’t need moisturizer until the last 5 years or so. Using lotion to help with the makeup (or war paint!) is the best idea I’ve heard.
I haven’t used a face tone in a long time. And with this pandemic, I stopped even applying mascara to my lashes. But the most important thing for me is a well – defined eyebrows! But eyebrow embroidery https://mediaonemarketing.com.sg/top-eyebrow-embroidery-singapore/ helps a lot with this. No gaps, everything looks very natural, and you don’t have to let them down forever. All I have to do is watch my skin, the care of which is usually a washbasin, tonic, and a light eyes cream
