Friday Fails – A Bullet List
On Monday and Tuesday, I was in Minneapolis, MN at General Mills Headquarters for a Betty Crocker event. It was SO much fun! I’m working on a post to tell you all about it. Yay!!
Here’s a lovely “fail-full” bullet list for your viewing/reading pleasure:
- I’ve failed miserably at replying to comments lately. So sorry about that! #mustgetbetter
- I wrote an apparently lame post on lamp light earlier this week. #fail Ahem.
- I chose to go to sleep last night instead of writing a post for Thursday. #fail Hope you didn’t expect any brilliance because there just wasn’t any there. Ha!
- The UPS driver assumed that because there is a “For Sale” sign in our front yard, that we had moved. #fail The package sat at the UPS place for six days before we were informed that we had moved. {rolls eyes}
- Our luggage is still packed from our trip to Indiana a couple weeks ago. I wonder if I’ll get it unpacked before my sister and I head to Charleston next month. Hmmm… {blush}
- And the list could go on and on and on…
**************************************************************************
Do you have a “fail” to share? Link ’em up here! If you don’t have a blog, just leave a comment. Please follow the rules! I can’t wait to read your fails! Try to spread the love and comment on the other “fails” posts!
How about me running into a bush/tree and apologizing?
Or packing so much that I couldn’t take the swag bag home?
Or not getting enough pictures of US!
Or not telling you how truly lovely you are!
#FAIL

A.) Hmmm…My fails this week are starring right back at me. My house looks like A Bomb went off in it!
B.) I should clean it, but I am trying to catchup on my blogging since I am the only blogger in the world without a laptop (Fail)
C.) Oh, I should have started homeschooling my kids today, but couldn’t because of A & B.
I am sure there are more, but who wants to think about that? 🙂

So glad that I am not the only one that has a few failures during the week. 🙂 Hope the midwest was good to you this week. I can’t wait to hear all about it.
Amy´s last blog post ..Thankful for New Beginnings
I am SO bad at unpacking! Suitcases have been known to sit on my bedroom floor for WEEKS. Maybe months. Nooo…let’s not measure it in months. 🙂
Mary @ Giving Up on Perfect´s last blog post ..Monday Morning Mmmm- Zucchini Bread
I enjoyed the lamp light post 🙂 I prefer lamp light myself. And rope lighting in tray ceilings is WONDEFUL. I leave mine on all night so I am not stumbling around in the dark caring for a newborn. That post should not be on your “fail” list. 😉
Good morning Myra!
Don’t worry about having to put up a Friday fail list every week, I could do one up for EVERY day of the week!! lol!
This is life and we are to take whatever a day brings be it perfect or otherwise.
I LOVE your “Blessed Life” blog and it has inspired me, loved the lamp one (who said it was lame?!!), it even made me think of what lamps I have.
I also love the “candlelight” feature on my wee Panasonic camera, sometimes I like taking pics at night and it gives a nice effect.
So go greet the day girl, overlook the negatives and emphasize the positives in each day God brings to us.
Blessings and love
Linda
Pretty sure I can relate to the suitcases! Although ours got unpacked quickly they sat empty in our room for weeks! lol
Kelly´s last blog post ..Ugh! Many Fails!
I had an email this week that spoke to me about focusing on the positive instead of failures. We all come short of the Glory of God, but have to plod on while keeping Him in our focus. My hope is that it will help some of you reflecting on failures to look at blessings instead!
“Be thankful for what you have. Be creative. Be innovative. Think differently and positively. When life gives you a 100 reasons to cry, show life that you have 1000 reasons to smile.
“Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear. Keep the faith and drop the fear.
“The most beautiful thing is to see a person smiling and even more beautiful, is knowing that you are the reason behind it!!!”
Also, Melissa Taylor had a wonderful blog post this week entitled “We is some broke folks in need of fixin’!” It is great and I encourage you to read it. It is too long to copy here, so the link is http://melissataylor.org/ It is the second post down.
Happy Friday to all! Thanks for all the encouragement you give to all of us. The Lord speaks through these posts!
I love the “roll eyes” comment! That makes me smile!
Peaceful wishes,
Melissa
