Sunday Meditations – Praising Him
I don’t know about you, but I’m loving the spring-like, sunshine-soaked, gorgeous days that have finally arrived! Spring is beginning to free herself from Winter’s crazy rain, snow and frigid grasp.
Today, I got a gorgeous glimpse of Spring at my Memaw’s house. Her daffodils are blooming as is the forsythia and quince. So, I finally have a new Sunday Meditations photo!
It’s wonderful to think on God’s control over His creation and how nature praises Him. I need to praise Him more. He’s done amazing things for us, and sadly, more often than not, I come to Him complaining rather than praising.
“Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together” Psalm 98:8
“For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands. Isaiah 55:12
Won’t you join me today in praising Him?
These were really great verses for me today. I appreciate knowing that we all sometimes forget to praise Him, in our humanness it’s inevitable. But this served as a wonderful reminder to do just that. Love coming here and feeling renewed by your words, and especially His. Thank you.
