Blissdom 2010
This past weekend at Blissdom, I had the time of my life meeting SO many fabulously amazing women who I’ve grown to love online. We forged deeper “real life” connections, we giggled, cried (a little) and grew. There is such a vast community and it is a privilege to be a very small part of it!
All the Blissdom Babies and their Mamas!
A special shout-out to Christine for making it extra special for the Blissdom Babies – swagbags and stroller “trials.”
I got to meet Jennifer (aka MckMama). She is amazing, down-to-earth, humble and as genuine as they come. She even gave me some camera advice!
I hung out with these fabulous women – Amy and Alyssa! I *heart* them!
Um, yeah. This is the swag from the weekend. Yes, it is unbelievably amazing!
For fear of leaving someone out, I won’t begin to name all the wonderful women that I connected with this weekend, but here are the ones in these photos:
Amy, Stephanie, Phoebe, Hillary, Arianne, Toni, Alyssa, Mandy, Rachel, Cheryl, Joy, Lauren, Amy, Stephanie, Amy, Jen, Crystal, Connie, Melissa and Holly
Among many, many, many more!
One of my favorite things about Blissdom was all the smiles and hugs. Oh the hugs! It was an incredible experience of camaraderie from women who “get” me. In a world full of people who look at me like I have 5 heads or food in my teeth when I mention blogging, it was such a “hug.” Seriously.
The sessions were great and the food was good too, but the best part was the sense of community, the conversations, the connections. I’m excited about life, my precious family and this blog.
Speaking of family, my hubs was absolutely amazing! He took care of Ridley for 3 days and nights straight. Ernie was a super dad to a very grumpy baby. I love you babe!
And I can’t wait until Blissdom 2011!
It was so great to meet you! Yes, many thanks to the hubbys who cared for the little ones all weekend long. Hubby gets a free pass on the next 3 arguments 🙂 You hit the nail on the head, the feeling of community was outrageous.

That looks like so much fun! Glad you had the opportunity to make some new BFF’s! I hope that I have the chance to go to one of these bloggy conferences. Oh, but I’m not a hugger. Are only huggers allowed? 🙂

Sounds like a wonderful time of making friends and memories. How COOL that women could bring their babies if needed. I had thought, ‘I’m nursing, I couldn’t attend something like that!’ Fun to see this! Glad you had a great time!

Look at how nicely you set out all of your swag! I threw mine in a huge pile that took up my dining room table until I finally figured out where to put each thing. You are definitely more organized than me!
