My Shield. My Reward.
After reading this passage last week, I haven’t been able to get away from this verse. It is so powerful. Applicable to me – to my life. Because God is still the same God and He always keeps His Word.
“…the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.”
Genesis 15:1
What a blessing it is to know that God is my shield and my exceeding great reward! He is my protector and all I will ever need.
Be blessed today!
As our shield, He goes before and prepares the way. Isn’t that wonderful?!? And what a reward! Love it! Love Him.

It’s so great to know that the same God who required sacrifices and had so many laws back in the day also went before His people! We have a truly awesome God. Thanks for this reminder!
