Blissdom Thoughts
I’m beyond excited about my very first blog conference! Seriously, I’m ridiculously pumped.
Part of me wants to constantly think about it. The other part of me is trying not to think about it. I don’t want to get nervous, so I’m going with the “trying not to think about it part” at the moment.
There is so much buzz all over the internet via blogs, twitter and facebook about this awesome conference. Since Blissdom specifically targets women, you can imagine the hype about clothes, shoes, jewelry, hair, losing weight, (and of course, Harry) blah, blah, blah.
Not that those things aren’t important to me. They are. But I don’t want to be so concerned about the way that I look that people miss me and my heart.
I want to see you and your heart. Not your clothes, hair, jewelry or toned abs. Although, I might just compliment you on them!
When I started my blog, I did it because it was fun. It still is fun! If I never make a dime from blogging, it will be SO worth the effort. I have “met” the most incredible women and I enjoy their friendships on a daily basis. My goal at Blissdom is to strengthen these friendships and to forge new ones.
I hope to learn and grow from this experience. I want to be real because that’s who I am. I’m no faker and I can spot one a mile away. So be real and be genuine. I will love you for it and so will everyone else!

Yeah, I bet you are excited! I was a big dumbie and waited too long now it is sold out (and it is in my hometown!!) I DO think that I will be able to at least go to one of the cocktail parties and say hi. Hope to see ya, have a blast!

It’s my first conference too!! I am super nervous, and worried about all those things you listed. But like you said, I’m going to make new friends and strengthen the ones I already have.
