Remembering Pearl Harbor

December 7, 1941

“A date which will live in infamy.” — FD Roosevelt

For as long as I can remember, I have been captured with this time in history. I love reading anything about the World Wars.

Aside from the “romance” of this time, we must remember that sixty-eight years ago today, in a brutal attack on our country, 2,335 American soldiers and 68 American civilians died and 1,178 Americans were wounded.

How sad. How tragic.

Today I’m remembering.
