The Best Teething Remedy!
My sweet Little Man, Ridley, is 7 months old now. He just got his third tooth and I’m pretty sure he’s working on his 4th. I can’t believe how fast babies grow and change. His teeth definitely make him look like a big(ger) boy. It kinda makes my heart a tiny bit sad, but I’m excited about the new things that we are going to get to experience together.
There are so many “remedies” to ease teething discomfort — frozen washcloths, ice cubes in mesh feeders, teething rings, Tylenol, Motrin, Orajel and on and on. For a new mommy, it’s sometimes very overwhelming to figure out what works because there’s just so much out there. When Ridley started teething I remembered what my Mom gave to my youngest brother…Hyland’s Teething Tablets!!
So, I stopped by the store and bought a bottle. I tried Tylenol as well, but I could never tell if Ridley actually had any relief. When I gave him 3-4 Teething Tablets, it was like instant relief. Seriously, folks, these things are amazing!!!
I love that they are completely natural with no side effects! I normally give him 3-4 tablets as he needs them. Sometimes if he’s just super fussy (teething or not), I’ll gently hold a couple tablets under his tongue and it just relaxes him immediately. The tablets dissolve quickly to prevent choking or spitting them out.
You can find Hyland’s Teething Tablets at any drugstore or grocery store. I’ve not been asked to say all this by anyone. This is just a genuine “thing” that I totally LOVE!
I’m headed out of town for a couple days, but I have a few posts scheduled! So, hopefully I can keep you gals entertained! Ha!

Those teething tablets are the absolute BEST!! Sometimes the older remedies work the best:) Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for the reminder! I used these with my other kids & need to get some to have on hand for my little guy…they work great!
We like the teething tablets, too! In fact, I had to rummage around & find the ones we used when my daughter was a baby, because my 3mo son is acting like he's teething already! I feel much better using something natural than repeatedly giving Tylenol.
Amen girl! We've been using those quite a bit this week, and it calms him down immediately! You're right about the Tylenol…I could never tell if it was working with Caedmon.
I will have to try those with the next one! I used these homeopathic drops with Molls, but never could tell if they made a difference. Thanks for the advice!
These will for sure come in handy at my house. Thanks so much for the tip!
I swear by this stuff! It really took effect for my son too. He's 10 months and only popped his 3rd tooth 🙂 It's one of his vampire fangs LOL
Thank you very much for the mnemonic ! I used these with my other children & need to get some to have on hand for my little guy…they work great!
