A Couple’s Wedding Shower
This week over at Kelly’s Korner we’re getting great ideas for bridal showers! One of my very favorite bridal shower themes is a couple’s shower. I was a hostess for my sister’s bridal shower and we decided to invite all the guys. It was wonderful, the evening went flawlessly. I think having men there really balanced out everything and it was nice to have them around to carry this and tote that! Ha!
Although the “theme” for my sister’s bridal shower was quite traditional, a couple’s shower would be fun during a barbeque, cookout or picnic. It’s especially nice to receive gifts that both the bride or groom enjoy…tool and gadget etc.

Games
At both my bridal shower and my sister’s, the guests wrote down “blessings”, memories or thoughts on small index cards. It is so fun to go back and read them, even now. Someday, mine are going in a scrapbook.
A great idea for a couple’s shower game: Take three minutes and everyone write down as many famous/celebrity couples you can possibly think of. Whoever gets the most wins a prize! How fun is that!?!
