Why Do I Do This Every Week???

This is so ridiculously NOT pathetic that I’m not going to have to start writing things down as they happen, so I can not share them here with you. I can’t remember a thing these days! I think pregnancy must have done something serious to my brain. I can only hope that my forgetful husband is not rubbing off on me.

So what happens when a pregnant woman and a breastfeeding mother (who are NOT rapidly losing brain mass!) go shopping together? Well, we did not make repeated trips into Target for forgotten items and we did not arrive home only to realize that we both forgot birthday cards for our 11 year old brother…nope! Not us. We completely and always have it totally together…Not!

This past week when swimming at the pool, we did not check the filters and we did not find a million and one dead little frogs. We also did not pull the filters out to dump, only to find out that one of the frogs was NOT still alive and it did NOT jump into the pool. It really wasn’t too big a deal, because my frog-petrified sister suddenly decided that she would just jump right in…frogs and all…NOT! We had to wait until the poor thing was sucked up by the filter before she would step a toe in the water!

And when the neighbors discovered the piles of dead frogs that we dumped, I was sure to run out there and let them know that I was involved…nope, not me! I did not just watch the hands-on-hips concern and puzzled faces from my kitchen window…that would have been hilarious…but not anything that I would ever do!

I know that reading this was not even the slightest bit boring, right? Well, I’ll keep a running list of all the things that I don’t do this week, so maybe next week won’t be so miserably boring! The therapy was good for me anyway!

Happy Monday y’all!!

  1. The frog incident made me laugh…but I'm a bit grossed out thinking of all those dead frogs-ewww!

  2. Hahaha! I'm sitting here about to fall off my chair laughing! You forgot the part that you most certainly did NOT call your sister as you were watching the neighbors from your kitchen window and we both definitely did NOT laugh hysterically about it! 🙂

  3. The frog moment made me laugh/fall out of the chair! What a great story though 🙂
