• holding me on your hands high in the air doing “tricks” (more like amateur acrobatics)
• reading giant stories…those were the best!!!
• telling me to always wear a jacket outside
• building the hottest fire ever in the wood stove
• raking leaves and letting us jump in the pile just so you could rake them again
• teaching me the words to the Hallelujah Chorus at Christmastime

• teaching me Greek…sigh
• praying for me every day
• surviving my driving…as I survived yours! ha!
• protecting my heart
• supporting me in my college education
• teaching and preaching the Gospel to my heart on a weekly basis for my entire life
• walking me down the aisle to marry the man of my dreams
• pronouncing Ernie and me as husband and wife…you were amazing Dad!
• loving Ridley so much as your first grandchild.

You haved loved me unconditionally, even when we wanted to accomplish the same things…just in completely different ways! Grin. Your patience and forgiveness is amazing! Thank you for being so wonderful! You have sacrificed so much for our family and for your church. I am thankful. Your wisdom and counsel is Biblical and has immense value. I love you Dad! You’ll always be about 36 years young, at least in my mind! 🙂
