We had a such a fun 4th of July! I thought you might like to see a few pictures from the day. My sister and I got two hours of fun shopping in early and then I headed home to get some things done before our annual church picnic.
We managed to get a decent family picture. Of course, Ridley’s not smiling much, but at least he was looking toward the camera {if not, at it}! Ha!
The church picnic was such a wonderful time of food, fun and fireworks!

I used this amazing fireworks photography tutorial. I need to work on it more, but the improvement is significant since last year’s blurry bursts of fireworks.

We had a lovely 4th but my photos didn’t come out like yours. I wish I had read that fireworks tutorial as everything is out of focus on mine. I’ve got plenty of time to practice before next year.

I made the patriotic triffle you posted and it was a big hit! And so easy. I had to use an inverted cake cover as my triffle bowl but it worked out fine.

Looks like you had a great time! My little guys and I didn’t do much, we were too tired from our vacation! My husband and oldest boy celebrated in West Virginia where they are working with the Appalachian Service Project this week.
