Turkey & Cheese Sandwiches {Fancy Style}

by Myra on February 14, 2011

I was first introduced to this sandwich when I was a teenage babysitter.  This recipe takes typical turkey and cheese sandwiches to a new level!  Yum!  I love that the ingredients are some that I normally have on hand, so it’s usually easy to make for lunch or Sunday night supper after church.

Turkey & Cheese Sandwiches {Fancy Style}

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 T. Worcestershire sauce
  • 3/4 c. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 c. chopped green onions
  • shaved turkey
  • bread {we like sweet italian or hawaiian bread}

Beat mayo and cream cheese together until smooth. Add Worcestershire sauce, cheddar cheese and green onions. Mix well.

Spread cheese mixture on bread, add turkey.

Slice and enjoy! :)

I love a warm grilled cheese- with good cheese (I grew up in WI) and soft bread- not too thick.

We just had this for lunch! Thanks for the recipe- it was great! I did not have turkey- so I used some Rotisserie chicken. It was so good!
