  1. Oh Myra! I love that Nativity set … it’s gorgeous. I have looked at it for several years and longed to have it for my home.

My favorite decoration?? Oh my word … I would have to say it’s a tie between my Fontanini nativity set which my husband bought for me almost 10 years ago and the yellow construction paper star with glitter that C made in preschool 8 years ago.

  2. Wow what a awesome giveaway. What a sweet treasure to pass down. I love Willow Tree.
I have so many decorations that I love, but I think one of my favorites is a ornament that my mom gave me, it was a ornament that she and dad put on their first Christmas tree. All have been broken over the years, but she had three left. Perfect number, one for her, my sister, and me.
    Blessings

  3. I have lots of favorites but one of them is my ornament collection that was given to me by my grandmother each year as I grew up. Now that she is in Heaven, when I place those ornaments on the tree, I am reminded of her and all the wonderful memories I got to share with her.

  4. The Nativity Set Is Beautiful!!! The Nativity Sets that I have I treasure. Sometimes I have one set that sometimes I leave out all year. It gives me the oppertunity to explain the Nativity to small children. My next favorite Christmas decoration is the Christmas Tree with all the sentimental ornaments. Each ornament has a Special memory. I even have some with the Nativity scene on them.

  5. I love Christmas Decorations, but my favorite is a nativity my mom gave me the year I got married. It is small and white so simple but so meaningful.

  6. My favorite Christmas decorations are ornaments I’ve collected while traveling. It’s fun to look at them on the tree, and reminisce about our travels.

  7. Every year I stare at this nativity in stores and love it! My favorite Christmas decoration is our Christmas tree. I love to sit and drink hot chocolate and just gaze at the lights. (This is starting to sound like I do nothing at Christmas time but stare at various things… 🙂 )

  8. My favorite Christmas decoration are a set of 3 pre-lit trees. I like them so much, I’ve found a way to incorporate the into my decorating almost year round.

  9. Absolutely LOVE this nativity set! My favorite decoration has always been the nativities – Mom had one in glass, one in pewter, and one in ceramic – and I just love the beauty of each of them. We have yet to get a nativity set for our home (other than the 5-piece dollar store one), because the ones that are most beautiful are just too darn expensive! That said, I would *LOVE* to win this to grace our home at Christmas time!!

  10. My favorite Christmas decoration is my current Nativity set. I do love the Willow Tree figures and I already know where I could put it. Thank you!

  11. What a fabulous giveaway, Willowtree is sooo beautiful! I would love to be able to give this to my daughter who is just starting her Christmas collection as this is her first Christmas living on her own. My nativity set is absolutely my favorite Christmas decoration and I leave it out for about 2 months so I can enjoy it longer!

  12. My favorite Christmas decoration is an ornament that I gave to my husband when we were dating. It was our first Christmas and I found an ornament that was a snowglobe that had a Christmas tree, but when you rotated it the other side of the Christmas tree showed a Cross of wood. I love how it was a reminder for truly why do we celebrate Christmas and a reminder of the greatest gift ever given…The gift of God’s son- Jesus Christ. The true sacrifice for our sins so that we may have a relationship with The Father and an eternity forever with Him in Heaven! Oh that we would not get caught up in the “stuff” of the holidays.

  13. My favorite decoration is a red sequin Christmas tree I made (took tons of time!), but I love how festive and sparkly it is. 🙂

  14. I would love to have this in my home. I am trying extra hard this year to remind my 4 children what the holiday season is really about. It would make a great visual reminder and it is beautiful!

    1. @Renee B, I forgot to add my favorite ornaments are the ones my mom collected for me each year. Now that she has passed away I think of her when I put them on the tree.

  15. Love the willow tree figurines!! My favorite decoration has got to be the tree!! It’s the focal point of all the Christmas celebration throughout the season!! =)

  16. I have had my eye on this nativity set for quite some time…

My favorite Christmas decoration is definitely my Nativity set. I was given the set from my childhood {which holds very fond memories for me}. I hope to pass that on to my children. However, I just LOVE this set…

…and how can you go wrong with two nativities? lol 🙂

  17. My favorite decoration is this giant santa clause that my half-sister’s mother gave us for our wedding gift. It was months later when she gave it to us and it was so special to receive and use every year since. Our kids have always loved it as well, giving him a hug daily has been a tradition passed down through all 4 of them!

  18. My favorite Christmas decoration is an angel that plays music. I think it’s from the precious moments collection.

  19. My home is filled with favorites at Christmas! One of them is a set of 3 Wisemen that look hand carved. My youngest daughter knocked one of them off the mantle and broke his head off, and hastily glued his head back on before I could see. (With my husband’s help!) It isn’t a perfect glue job, but it makes a nice story now that she’s older, and we use it anyway!

  20. I would love to have this nativity set. I have been watching it in the store for years!! My current fav decoration? My children’s Fisher Price nativity set! 🙂

  21. The Nativity is just beautiful!. My favorite Christmas decoration is a pair of angels that were given to me the Christmas our daughter was born – in 1971! They sit on our mantle every year. Now our grandchildren love looking at them.

  22. I’d have to my favorite Christmas decoration is the nativity. When my husband and I were first married I bought a small nativity that was a knock of “Precious Moments” style. It was so pretty to me even though the porcelain faces have flaws on them. I remember setting it up on a box in the corner of our little one bedroom apartment, complete with a star I had cut out and put silver glitter on and scotch taped to the wall. I thought it was the most beautiful thing that Christmas and for many years we used that nativity scene until about 5 years ago when I purchased a real porcelain nativity in all white with mor grown up figures. This one has the shepards, a couple lambs & a donkey. But every year we put the sanme sver glittered star to remind us of our humble beginnings – just like Jesus in that stable so many years ago.

  23. Love this set. I am sure that whomever you donate to will cherish always.
Out favorite decorations is one that my sister in law made before she passed away suddenly. Its the one thing that never changes from year to year.
Thanks for your site. Truly a blessing for me.

  24. Oh please please please enter me for the Willow Tree Nativity giveaway! I don’t have a Nativity set and I adore this WT set! I want to fill my home with decorations of the real meaning of Christmas! Thanks so much! 🙂

  25. I have wanted one of these sets for a long time! Would love to win it. My favorite decoration is our tree decorated with all our boys handmade ornaments. I used to obsess over the tree looking just right, but it was never as perfect as it is now with their snowflakes, handprints and more!

  26. Forgot to mention…my favorite decoration is a handmade baby Jesus my son made in preschool….just precious to me!

  27. My Favorite Christmas Decoration is a kneeling Santa ( Santa with his Hat off Kneeling at the side of Baby Jesus)

  28. I would love to win this so I could give it to my best friend for Christmas. Willow Tree collectables are her absolute favorite!
My favorite Christmas decorations are all the homemade ornaments that hang on my parents’ tree. My siblings and I made them when we were kids.

  29. I don’t have a lot of Christmas decorations but one of my favorites is a “talking” nativity. I like it because it’s not breakable and my kids can play with it and hear the christmas story whenever they want by pushing the button on it.

  30. My favorite Christmas decorations are my nativity scenes. We have this one from Willow Tree. I love it! I also have one made in Bethlehem Israel, and then we have the Fisher Price one, which I also love, and so does Baby Girl!

  31. I have been wanting one of these nativity sets for the past few years. Would LOVE to have this for our home!!!

  32. I would have to say my favorite Christmas decoration is my Christmas tree. From the angel ornaments to the homemade ornaments that my son has made in years past, to ornaments that I have been given by family and friends that are no longer with me. When I look at them and touch them they always bring back a special memory.

  33. Love Willow Tree! So much we used them for our wedding topper.

My favorite Christmas decoration is a toss up between the our “Just Married” Disney ornament from our Honeymoon and the wreath I made the year Alex proposed. That was our first Christmas together. 🙂

  34. My favorite decorations are the ornaments that we get each year for the kids. They represent some life event from that year in their lives. Putting them on the tree is like walking down memory lane.

  35. Oooohhh!!! I love willow tree! My favorite decor would have to be little white lights….makes everything feel so cozy!

  36. I love the ornaments we have with our family pictures on them. Every year we’ve added a new one. It’s so much fun to see how much we all change year to year!

  37. My favorite Christmas decoration is our nativity count down to Christmas. Every day the kids hang a new star on the peg as we count down the days together. On Christmas we put on the biggest star at the top. 🙂

  38. Last year we were taking the ornaments out of the box to hang on the tree. I picked up a construction paper Christmas tree and oohed and aaahed over how pretty it was. Not remembering which child had made it, I turned it over looking for a name on the back. I found one. It was “Jaxyn”. My children are Emily and Lauren. My husband and I gave each other puzzled looks and my 7 yr old wanted to know who this Jaxyn person was. I think she thought we were hiding something from her until my three year old piped up and said, “Oh, that’s my special ornament. Jaxyn is my friend from preschool.” After I explained to her that it wasn’t ok to take other people’s things from school, she informed me that she loved Jaxyn’s tree so much that she made him a special ornament to trade. She wasn’t returning to preschool after Christmas break and she said wanted to share something special with her friend to remember him by. Every time I saw that tree throughout the holidays I had a little chuckle remembering our surprise when we found another child’s ornament with our special keepsakes and my heart was a little warmer knowing that my baby had learned to appreciate the true meaning of Christmas – sharing the special things with friends and family.

  39. My favorite Christmas decoration is anything that my mom left to me after she passed away. Every years when I put these pieces out, I remember her and am so thankful for the time I had with her 🙂

  40. My favorite Christmas decoration would probably be the Christmas tree. That is a tough though. We don’t have a Nativity set so this would be great. I love the WillowTree set.

  41. Would love to have this set. My favorite Christmas decoration is a wonderful wooden sign hand made by some people in Indiana, which is a long way from my home in Massachusetts that I bought some 15 years ago at a folk arts craft show. It is a big Santa on a board and it says :What a wonderful time of the year”. I just love it and hang it on my porch every year.

  42. I love willow tree figures as well. Up to now I have just two (sister and brother) and 2 friends (my girlfriend gave me that one for Christmas 2 years ago). I love them. The Nativity Scene would be lovely with that, so i would like to put my name in the hat as well.
Thanks for offering us the chance to win.

  43. I love getting your daily emails and reading the positive words that you share with us. How inspiring it is to know that I am not the ONLY one that feels overwhelmed and stressed! How AWESOME it is that you are working hard to return to a slower pace and to make that special time for Christ and your family each day…I think it is something that we could all stand to do more of.

I love the Willow Tree Natvity set. I have several Willow Tree figurines that have all been gifts. I have admired the nativity for many years…I just never want to spend that much money around Christmas time to add this to my collection.

  44. My favorite Christmas ornaments are the ones that my grandma made for me as a child. There are plastic canvas santas and gingerbread houses, crossstiched angels, and popsicle stick reindeer. Each one has the year noted on it so I reminisce as I place them on our tree and share with my sons about how great my grandma was.

  45. What a beautiful set! Our current nativity set is made up of little people. It would be nice to add an adult version to the house. 🙂

  46. My favorite Christmas decoration is my “nativity around the world” set. I put it out every year (high up so the little ones won’t break it). It’s very special to me bc it’s the same one I always remembered having when I was a little girl living at home with my parents. It brings sweet memories. I really need this willow tree nativity this year. Our house is for sale and ALL our Christmas decor and about 1/2 our house are in storage. I thought we would be moved by now but unfortunately we are not. We are going to decorate but it will be with various homemade ornaments on a real tree this year to minimize the attic and garage clutter until the house sells.

  47. My favorite decoration is definately the Nativity set and this one is beautiful!! I’ve wanted it for years!

  48. I think my favorite Christmas decoration would have to be a over the top decorated Christmas tree. I love to look at the lights at night. It also brings back beautiful memories of decorating the tree with my family when I was younger.
Thank you for this opportunity to win such a beautiful nativity set.

  49. Nativities are some of my favorite Christmas decorations. I love collecting ornaments too that focus on the birth of Christ.

  50. What a GREAT giveaway! Thank you!
My favorite Christmas Decoration is the tree. I love how the light eluminates my whole living room. I love sitting there at night with nothing on but the tree. So surreal. Since my hubby and I got married 5 years ago, we have always used a artificial tree, but this year I think I finally convinced him to go and cut down our own real tree!

  51. My favorite Christmas decoration is the little Cobblestone Corners village set my grandpa left to me when he passed away a few years ago. I think he got it from the Dollar Tree, so it’s not very valuable. Just unwrapping it reminds me of him because I can smell him. I won’t be putting it up this year, because I think my 8 month old would have way too much fun playing with it!

  52. Growing up I loved my countdown to Christmas calender. It has a little mouse that you move from day to day. If you saw the movie “Four Christmases” one of the houses has the same one! Now that I’m married, we’ve started our own traditions. Last year our Pastor said that they primarily decorate for the holidays with crosses, because it’s important to remember what came after the manger, so I’m enjoying collecting a cross ornament each and every year for our tree!

  53. As it turns out my favorite Christmas decoration is my Nativity set. I love to have one in each of the rooms the family gathers, to remind us why we celebrate Christmas. My favorite one is the tiniest one I put on my kitchen window sill right above the sink. During the holidays I seem to spend a lot of time in front of the sink and it is a sweet reminder to slow down and keep the chaos to a minimum and enjoy my blessings!

  54. I have friends who love willow tree. I would love to make their Christmas by giving them this nativity set!! It’s very pretty! I love how Mary is loving on baby Jesus :-).

  55. I’m not sure I can pick just one favorite decoration. I collect Nativities and they are one of my favorite things to decorate with at Christmas. I love them and have since I was a child. I always remember being so excited when it was time to put out my mom’s nativity. I think that’s why I collect them now. The ornaments made by my kids are probably the ones I treasure the most though.

  56. My favorite ornaments are the “first’ Christmas ornaments I have for each of my sons. I also have several ornaments with our family pic in them- those are a great way to look back at how they have changed over the years.

  57. I love all of our ornaments. Every year I buy a new one for each of us. It’s fun every year to look at all of them and remember previous years!

  58. My ornaments each have been selected one at a time throughout our marriage. The kids have stories to go with many of them. We talk about those places/people each time we decorated the tree. Lots of memories!

  59. I love to have a nativity set out for Christmas. And I also lov my countdown -to-Christmas calendar I made when my kids were very young. Now in their twenties, I still sometimes hang it up and they love it!

  60. My favorite Christmas decoration is either the snowman cutout I decorated when I was 3. I love putting that up every year.

  61. My favorite decoration is a nativity snow globe that my grandparents gave me when I was about 13. It also plays “Away in a Manger” if you wind it up. No one is allowed to touch it but me and it goes on a very high shelf where little hands can’t reach 🙂

  62. My favorite Christmas decorations are my nativity sets. I have many that sit all over the house and a few small ones that hang on the tree. Trying to bring the focus back to what the season is really all about. Thanks for the giveaway!

  63. My favorite Christmas decoration is a small nativity my husband and I purchased when we first got married 37 years ago. We were married Nov 3rd and we were 18-19 and broke. We went to a local dime store/pharmacy/card shop and we found this little wooden set it is all in one piece. The stable, the animals and Mary and Joseph and the baby. Our son has put his name on it when we want to give it away. I display a nativity year round for Jesus is the Reason for Christmas and the reason for our LIFE.

  64. My favorite decorations are the ornaments that each have special meaning whether to remind us of a trip we went on or a craft project I made when I was five.

  65. My favorite Christmas decoration is the nativity snow globe from my childhood. It’s was huge, and beautiful, and glorious. I was always so in awe of it, haha.

  66. One of my favorite things are the angels that we put on our tree. But… just 6-years ago, the nurses took my baby girl in for the last check-up before they dismissed us from the hospital on Christmas Day. When they returned with our {very early} baby girl, she was all snuggled up into a stocking. We now hang her special first stocking up each year.

  67. My favorite decorations are the ones that my kids have made over the last few years. To be able to look back and see their small hand prints and remembering making those thing brings me happiness and reminds me to count my blessings.

  68. My favorite Christmas decoration is the nativity set – I also just love the clear lights and how they remind me of the pure holy light that came that first Christmas!

  69. I’ve never had a really nice nativity set, we’ve been wanting to buy one, but all the ones we like have been sooo expensive! This one is gorgeous!

My favorite Christmas Decoration is Garland. I would stream it everywhere if I could get away with it. 🙂

  70. My favorite decoration is the angel my grandmother would put on top of her tree. She was beautiful and covered in sparkles. It was such a great addition to her tree and really made the room light up.

  71. i love these willow trees!! i collect them and have been wanting the christmas scenes for so long! i love my vintage sled decorationg i found at a flee market

  72. My favorite christmas decoration is the pickle ornament. My kids love to search for it Christmas morning. Whoever finds the pickle first gets to open the first present.

  73. I love my Willow Tree nativity set – yes I already own this – it is my favorite decoration. I would love to win this to donate to our Angel Tree family.

  74. I already have this beautiful nativity. But it would make a great gift to give. It really is beautiful.

  75. My favorite Christmas ornament (s) are the ones that my kids made me. I love putting them on the tree every year and remembering the age they were when they made it, etc. Such good memories. 🙂

  76. My favorite Christmas decoration is my tree. I love to fill it completely up with ornaments, lots of new ones and a whole bunch of them from my and my husband’s childhood.

  77. My favorite Christmas Decoration has to be an Advent Wreath, simple Beauty but represents a lot. I also Love getting a Swarovski Snowflake each year.

  78. My Willow Tree Nativity set is my favorite Christmas decoration…In fact there have been times that I have left it out displayed all year long!!!! I would love to win this to give to my very BFF for Christmas 🙂 I know she would love it…
    rene´s last blog post ..Reveal…

  79. My favorite Christmas decoration is homemade ornaments that I’ve made with my 5 year old daughter for our humble tree.

  80. I grew up loving all things Christmas. Now that I have my own home we are slowly finding our own Christmas decorations. As much as I love our nativity set growing up my mother just can’t part with it since my neice and nephew love it like I used to, rearranging everything and telling the christmas story over and over. For years I have looked at the Willow Tree set and have been wishing for one. I would love to win this give away.

  81. Christmas is very meaningful to me and I love my nativities. I want my Christmas decorations to show the true meaning of Christmas.

  82. My favorite Christmas decoration is the Rudolph tree topper my husband and I have used since our 1st Christmas together 25 years ago. His nose doesn’t shine as brightly, but he is still a handsome deer!

  83. My favorite Christmas ornament is a small fireplace mantel that has stockings hung in front of it – on each of the stockings are my family’s names. My kids always argue about who gets to put that one on the tree!

  84. I love seeing all my mother-in-law’s many nativity sets at Christmas. We don’t actually have one–yet. Hoping to have this one to put out this year!

  85. I love the christmas tree, but I don’t have a nativity set so this would probably turn into my favorite decoration if I had it. Thank you for the chance to win it!!!

  86. My favorite decorations are my nativity sets. I have some we’ve had for years, some that are handmade and some that were gifts. I don’t have the Willow Tree and would love to add it to my collection!

  87. Some of my favorite Christmas Decorations are those that my children have made. Every time I take them out, always packed away in lots of tissue, they bring back a flood of memories. No matter if it was last year of when they first entered pre-school, these have become some of my most treasured Christmas items. I have also started taking one of their school art pieces each year, and sending it away to have it put onto a Christmas ornament. One day, when my children have grown, these ornaments will leave the house with them, so that they can have a filled Christmas tree and that they can share with their children.

  88. I’ve been wanting the WillowTree nativity for years! Out of our budget right now so it’d be wonderful to win! That said, I still love my old nativity. It used to belong to my parents and it’s missing arms and chipped etc…but I love it…I remember putting the nativity out as a kid. It was always my job and I spent hours trying to set it up just right. I’ll still find a place for it somewhere safe!

  89. My very most favorite Christmas Decoration is a small, ragged handmade felt stocking decoration for a Christmas Tree. It has a barely visible 1976 on it in glitter. I made it in Kindergarten. My parents divorced, and I hadn’t seen my Dad for years and years.. and out of the blue, this came to me in the mail. He found it in a box, and his now wife made him find me and send it to me. Ever since then, we’ve been talking and making connections again. Nothing else can replace it ad it represents so much more than a Christmas Ornament.

  90. I love Christmas. Our family starts celebrating on November 1st. I figure if we start putting fall things out in Septmeber, than we can enjoy Christmas for a couple of months too. I think it is the feeling that Christmas gives you, to do better, be more like Christ, that is what drew me to the 30 day challenge. It is just what I needed.
My favorite holiday decoration is my nativity set that my Aunt gave me when my husband and I were first married. I love it! It is old and the angel has lost one of her wings. Kind of reminds me of our family. We may not be perfect, but we try! But we have Christmas decorations everywhere.

  91. My favorite Christmas decoration is “the Christmas Nail”. My mom and dad would hang it every year. I’m planning on buying one for my husband and I’s tree this year too! It’s supposed to be hung on a sturdy branch for only the family to know about. Here is a link with a great explanation for it! This is the poem that comes with the nail-
    The Christmas Nail Poem
    This is the Christmas Nail.
It is to be hung on a sturdy branch,
    a branch near the trunk,
a branch that will hold such a spike
without being noticed by well-wishers dropping
by to admire one’s tinseled tree.
The nail is known only to the home that hangs it.
Understood only by the heart that knows its significance.
It is hung with the thought…
    that the Christmas tree
but foreshadows the Christ-tree which only He could
decorate for us, ornamented with nails as this.

  92. My favorite Christmas decoration would have to be the stockings that I made. I just love them since they are so special to me. I can’t wait to make my new daughter one.

  93. My very favorite decoration is an elf ornament that used to hang on my grandmother’s tree when she was still with us. I loved her whimsical little tree with all those wooden ornaments!

    ndisilvio @gmail .com

  94. When I got married my Mom gave me all the Christmas ornaments that were mine as a kid. Each year I enjoy unwrapping each one and remembering them on our tree as a child.

  95. I love decorating with our Christmas tree and all the special ornaments we’ve added over the years but I would also LOVE to decorate with that beautiful nativity!

  96. My favorite Christmas decoration is the 1950’s nativity set from the 1950’s….complete with a removable baby Jesus. It was my mother’s and graced a place of honor every Christmas. Baby Jesus was not in the manger until Christmas morning when he would miraculously appear.

When mom died, that was the one item I wanted. The price stickers are still on the bottom…$0.29 or $0.59 each. A treasure I treasure.

  97. I love this set! My favorite decoration is the old boy/girl salt and pepper shakers that my grandma used every Christmas. When she passed away it was the only thing that I wanted and my mom made sure that I got them. I LOVE getting the boxes out and opening up the one with them in it. I smile, thinking of them sitting on my grandma’s kitchen table and now sitting on mine.

  98. Oh what an awesome give-a-way.
I think one of my favorite Christmas decorations is an ornament made by my Grandmother, which has her baby picture on it. I loved my Gram so much, she actually planted the seed of Christ in my heart. I put her ornament up at the top right next to the angel.

  107. I love the nativity set. My favorite Christmas decoration is a little plastic church music box Mom bought when I was a child. When we were dividing her things, I “won” it because it meant the most to me and my second sister wanted the ceramic sleigh and reindeer set Mom made. The youngest was disqualified because she poked out the stained glass windows. She said, “I just wanted to see the people inside!” We forgave her because she was only 4, but still felt it disqualified her from ownership. Regardless, it is mine and I proudly display it along with the little trees and people we collected over the years.

  108. My favorite Christmas decoration is our advent calendar. It features a felt wreath and wooden ornaments made by my mother-in-law. What a fun tradition 🙂

  112. My favorite decorations (by far) are my nativity sets. I have several, and we set them up in different rooms. My favorite among them is the Little People nativity because my daughter can take down the pieces and interact with them. I love seeing her talk to Jesus, Mary, Joseph and the angel. It melts my heart.

I remember her sitting watching tv as she sewed button eyes on and rickrack decorations. A few years ago, my mom decided to divide up many of her Christmas decorations. I live far away and was home. But I had to keep in mind that anything I wanted, I had to carry on the plane. So I waited to use my choice on the garland. All 3 of us wanted it. So we pulled a name out of the hat, and I won! It is one of my treasures. I know you didn’t ask for a story, but I couldn’t contain it! 🙂 thanks for letting me walk down memory lane.
