The Last Hoorah of Summer

At least that’s what I’m telling myself.

The temps are trying to fool me into thinking that it’s still summer here in Alabama. But I just checked the calendar and it’s almost (almost) October!  Anytime Jack Frost decides to arrive will be fine by me.

Until then we will relish the last warm air moments…

Adorableness.

My sweet, darlin’ little man at the splash pad!  He loved it!

Is it cooling down in your neck of the woods?

  1. We’ve had beautiful fall weather the last few days too here in southern PA. Low 50’s at night and 70’s during the day. But, tomorrow it’s going to be in the high 80’s again. I just want fall to really start! 🙂

  2. It has still been hot here this week and it will be until Friday and then we are supposed to get rain for about 3 days and the temps will be hight 70’s low 80’s during the day and hight 50’s to low 60’s at night which will be fine with me, I am ready, but since I have no other choice for the next few days I will still enjoy baseball in the yard in the evenings and warm sunny days but no more swimming for us because grandma took her pool down and the town pool is already closed. But I can’t wait for sweatshirts, warm drinks all day long and cool evenings, ahhhhh some of my very favorite things. Have a great day!

  3. We were so blessed yesterday with a warm summer day to celebrate a season well done! Now today it is cloudy out and fall looking. Fall was a bit early here this year. We started having cooler weather as soon as we turned into September. I am looking forward to Indian Summer. 🙂 And then I will let go and be ready for all the beauty of fall.

I am kind of visiting and trying to catch up today on some of my mail. I have been working on a new blog and wanted to invite you over. It is for saving money and if you can use anything on it, for your blog… I am so very happy to share.

God bless you and yours honey! Grandma Patty Ann

  4. I am usually a summer girl, through and through, but this summer has been a totally different story. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I can’t WAIT to put my long pants and long sleeves on. It’s still SUPER hot here in Texas and I have one month left in my pregnancy. I NEED some relief!!!! 🙂
