Summer Fun!

by Myra on June 15, 2010

Ridley has been immensely enjoying his summer. He’s been to the park, on bike rides, to the farm, playing with cousins, watching his mommy and Pa-Paw plant a garden, dancing around in the sprinklers and all kinds of other fun.

Summer ativities keep us very busy, but it’s a good life.

What are some of your favorite summer activities? This new momma could use some inspiration! :)

“Painting” on the sidewalk with water is fun and doesn’t leave a mess! Filling a water gun with colored water and spraying the sidewalk (can be just a little gun). Looks like he’s already having a great time!

Looks like they’re loving Summer! My kids love the beach but I prefer a nice air conditioned room. LOL!

We love to travel. We don’t spend a lot of money on our journeys but we enjoy them none the less. Site seeing is a great way to go somewhere with out spending a lot. There are so many hidden treasures everywhere. Geocaching is great too when you travel. The best part is it’s free. Don’t know what Geocaching is? Check it out on my blog.

Oh those pics are CUTE. You sound like you’re already off to a great start, we live by the beach so we do spend a LOT of time there. We also love finding fountains or kiddie water parks (our county parks here have great water parks that are basically just a bunch of cool fountains). Throw in bubbles, sidewalk chalk, cold lemonade and homemade popsicles and you’ll be set. ;-)

Your son is so cute! :) My toddler enjoys: attempting to ride his trike, playing t-ball, playing in water of any kind, “cleaning” things with a bucket of water and a sponge, counting/dumping rocks, and also playing “cover baby brother’s head with grass” -though I don’t like that last one too much :)
