Edible Play Dough Recipe

When I was little, my Mom always made edible play dough. My siblings and I loved making all kinds of shapes and figures. It was a perfect learning experience. Our favorite part was being able to eat our play dough creations!

Today, when I was looking through my recipe card file I found the recipe. I can hardly wait to make it for Ridley to play with – of course, when he’s a bit older. I know we will have some educational and yummy fun with it!

Edible Play Dough

  • 1 cup peanut butter
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 1 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 1/4 cup powdered milk

Combine, play and eat! *Be sure your kiddos have well-washed hands before playing with the “edible” play dough.  Ha!

  1. It’s been a LONG time, but we used to make this! Every once in a while I think about digging up the recipe for my kids. Now I don’t have to. :)

  3. Stopping by from We Are That Family. The Edible Playdough caught my eye because my kids (at least my younger 3) love playdough. One word of caution about this recipe- please don’t take it to “public” places (even church nurseries) because this is a nightmare for parents of kids with a peanut allergy. If we didn’t have the allergy to contend with, I’d be all over this one.
