Easy Peanut Butter Fudge

by Myra on December 1, 2009

This is a “no-fail” fudge recipe that I’ve made year after year. If I can do it, anyone can. Seriously! Prince Charming loves Peanut Butter Fudge, but this same recipe can be made using a package of semi-sweet chocolate chips for Chocolate Fudge.

Peanut Butter Fudge
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. butter
  • 2/3 c. evaporated milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) pkg. peanut butter chips or 1 1/4 c. peanut butter
  • 7 oz. jar marshmallow cream
  • 1 c. nuts (optional)
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Bring first 3 ingredients to a full boil and boil 5 minutes, constantly stirring to prevent scorching. Remove from heat and add peanut butter chips or peanut butter, marshmallow cream, nuts, and vanilla. Pour into greased (foil-lined) 9 x 13 pan. Cool. Remove from pan by lifting foil. Then remove foil and cut with a very sharp knife or dental floss.

This is just delightful with a glass of milk! Yum!

thanks for including how much peanut butter I can use, I appreciate it, since I always have that on hand & not the peanut butter chips.
