Cute, Cheap Stuff

This past week, I had a very few minutes to run in a thrift store to see what they had. I found a couple cute things.

These adorable beach mats were only $1 each! They open three times the width that they fold up to. We will be able to use them even when sitting in the backyard or on a picnic. Aren’t they cute?

This interesting “key-like” thing was hanging on the wall at the store and I almost missed it, but oh how my heart fluttered when I saw it! I instantly fell in-love with this amazing piece. And it was only $3!!! I had great expectations for this lovely thing….

So, of course, I painted it black! I already had the spray paint on hand. I intentionally let some of the gold show through a little bit.

I hung it in the hallway right next to the bathroom door. I love it! It makes me smile when I walk past…not just because it’s cute, but because it cost me only $3!!
