Savings This Week

This week I decided that I would cut my grocery budget in half to see how we could do to just eat what we have in the pantry, freezer and refrigerator. I have menus planned for this coming week and I did my shopping based on that. Today I went to Aldi and Kroger…here’s what I got!

Kroger:

2 Pillsbury Brownie Mixes
2 McCormick Grill Mates
2 Avocados
2 Carolina Pride Little Smokies
4 Green Giant Frozen Vegetables

Value: 27.28
Sales, Coupons: 20.70
Total paid oop: 7.68 incl. tax
Savings: 75%!!!!!!!
Aldi:
Pringles

BBQ Chips
Navel Oranges
2 lbs. Grapes
Mushrooms
Baby Carrots
Broccoli Crowns
Onions
Spinach
Milk
2 cans Tuna
Mozzarella Cheese
Dry Pinto Beans
Turkey Bacon
Fresh Ground Beef

Paid 31.89 oop incl. tax

Grand Total this week: 39.57!
