How do you get so many manufacturer coupons? Do you buy multiples of the sunday paper? I just wondering your trick?

Thanks for all your comments and links! Isn’t it fun to save money!?!

Heather: I buy 2 Sunday papers each week. I go on Mondays to the office and purchase them there. The ladies there are used to me coming now because I go through all the papers and make sure all the inserts/ads are there. I take what I need and ask them to recycle the leftovers. Also internet printables are wonderful too!

A penny? Are you kidding me? That’s silliness. Yesterday I went through the line and handed a kid my pile of Food Lion coupons and told him there were nine total. But I had another $2 food lion coupon which I was including in the “total” he accidentally rung up eleven. I went back into the store when I discovered it and fearful I would ruin the good thing I have going as well as mess up some poor kid’s register. I went back in and confessed the miscommunication and the girl at the service desk was totally unconcerned. She said it wouldn’t mess him up and she wasn’t worried about it. So I got two “free” dollars off. Funny how if you get just the right person it makes all the difference! My Publix’s here have been awesome. Somedays when I have tons and tons of coupons I am just shaking thinking…this is the day the ax is going to fall…but so far so good.

Thanks for being an encouragement.

Ps…I lived in Michigan previous to living in Florida…and I DID go to space camp when I was a little kid….I have since given up my dreams to reach the stars and have hope to reach other’s hearts instead…Shooting for the stars and missing has landed me in Africa three times. Asia five or six times…..you get the drift. So you never know….
