Simple Layered Fall Tablescape
*This post brought to you by Better Homes and Gardens Products at Walmart.
Last week I showed you our Natural Fall Mantel and today I’m super excited to show you our very simple {Even though it looks complicated anyone can do this!} Fall Tablescape that I pulled together with things I already had and some fabulous new pieces I picked up at Walmart.

It’s about that time of year to begin thinking about the holidays. I try not to get too ahead of myself, but I’m always in planning mode for something. Having lovely items on hand that make it easy to entertain during this wonderful, festive season is a big part of being “holiday ready.” It takes away a lot of stress when you are prepared ahead of time.
I am a layer-er at heart. I can’t help myself. I layered two table runners together to anchor the tablescape. The burlap table runner is a Better Homes and Gardens product at Walmart.
The burlap runner adds a great rustic, textural element. What can I say? I’m a sucker for burlap anything. I’ve had the woven chargers for years. I use them most during this time of year. 🙂
I love these Better Homes and Gardens brick red cloth napkins and bronze napkin rings. The color is perfect for Fall through Christmas. Win-win!
Memaw’s amber glasses bring beautiful fall color and sparkle to the table. The amber glasses were Ernie’s choice when he was asked if there was anything he would like to have of Memaw’s when she went to heaven.
I think they are perfect and they remind me constantly of my childhood and good family memories.
Pretty and cozy. Who is coming for dinner? 🙂
I am so excited about the centerpiece. We aren’t a fancy family, so having a simple centerpiece is my goal. I’ve had the tray for a while, but I found the spanish glass vase jugs and the wood block candle holder at Walmart and I was smitten immediately.
Clearly I used the candle holder for flowers. We don’t burn candles very much at our house.
You can never go wrong with fresh flowers.
That’s a wrap on our simple layered Fall tablescape. I hope you are inspired to get your Fall decorating on! Be sure to check out the fabulous Better Homes and Gardens products at Walmart!
Do you enjoy dressing your table for the holidays?
xoxo
Myra
P.S. I found the burlap runner, red cloth napkins and napkin rings in the Fall holiday section, the candle holder with the candles and the two glass jugs in the home decor section near fabrics. Hopefully that gives you some direction when you go shopping! 🙂

Myra, your tablescape is beautiful! I was just about to leave a comment to ask where in the store you found those gorgeous glass vases, then I read to the end of your post. . . thanks for giving directions about how to navigate the store! Walmart is such a large department store, it’s nice to know where to look. 🙂

Gorgamous!! I need you to come to my house and go through my stuff and see what you can create. I’m always at a loss when it comes to tablescapes.
I love the amber glasses the most. I was keeping my fingers crossed they were from Walmart. They r such a treasure to be your grandma’s. I love the table.
Your table is beautiful! I’m in love with all the layering you did and I love those vases. The amber glasses are such a beautiful touch and I love the meaning behind them as well.

I love the mixing of old and new in the table scape. Adds an element of the past and initiates conversation. Lovely!
I’m usually very wary of going to Walmart for any kind of purchases. After reading your post I couldn’t believe how amazing the decorations looked. I think I may look to wal mart in the future.
