    1. Would love to win this for our daughter who will be moving away to her first apartment to go with her first “grown-up” job. Getting to help her decorate a new place is the only thing that’s making this tolerable for me!

    2. Target has an amazing selection of home decor. I always go to that section first. Reasonable prices too.

    4. Oh, I’d to win this gift card, I have my eye on some bedding. 😉 Thank you for the opportunity. 🙂

    5. I never leave target without standing in the organizing isles trying to think up a reason to buy yet another storage bin, box or beautiful crate!

    6. love, LoVe, LOVE Target! I bought some really pretty acrylic knobs for an upcycled dresser for our daughter’s room, and they turned it into a “princess dresser.”

    7. Target is the BOMB. Love it. A lot of cities (mine included) now have Super Targets that carry groceries as well. One-stop shopping, I tell you.

    8. Who couldn’t use a $50 giftcard to Target!!! Thanks so much and good luck to all. …….. but I hope I win! 🙂

    9. I’m addicted to Target’s clear RE organizing boxes in your first photo. I use them everywhere!

    10. I could definitely use a $50 gift card to Target to patch up an old hole in my bathroom wall where we used to have a double stack washer and dryer unit. I would also use to card to buy shelving for the now open space to create a much needed linen closet in the area. Target would also have the curtain rod and cute fabric shower curtains that I could create a cloth “door” for the much needed closet space. I have a baby on the way and we could sure use the $50 to help create much needed storage space! Thanks for the chance to enter! 🙂

    11. This professional interior designer LOVES Target! Who says that your house has to be full of expensive stuff when a lot of Target’s merchandise looks just as great?! Could really put that g/c to good use!

    12. Frugal renter tip, make friends with you landlord. In the long run, it will help you get what you need done, and won’t cause you extra stress about what needs to be fixed in your apt.

    13. My husband JUST bought our first home and I have been combing your blog to learn from what you’ve done. I’ve already bookmarked the frosted window treatment & the board and batten finish. Keep up the good ideas!! (And a Target gift card would just make home buying that much sweeter 😉

    14. Target is great – and nearby our apartment. We will soon be purchasing our next home, and all I can think about is little touchups and add-ons here and there… would love to get supplies at Target!

    15. frugal renters tip: paper lining cabinets and kitchen drawers is an inexpensive way to make the space your own as well as cover up unsightly scratches or marks that were left from prior tenants.

    16. Frugal tip: whenever I have had to move, the first thing I did was replace regular door stops with the ones that slip on the hinges. I very early found that I did not like repairing holes in the walls or hollow core doors. New door stops = no holes.

    17. Oh, I would “run” in to Target many times for a couple of things and I ended up staying for a couple of hours looking over their many products. Target is always changing and adding new products. Always a clean store. Please count me in for the Target gift card!

    18. Love the idea of going to Target. Usually I go elsewhere (Walmart, Home Depot, Michaels, etc.) thinking Target won’t have a good selection, but your pics have told me otherwise. Thanks!

    19. We just got a Target about 5 miles from us and I am loving it (of course, Home Depot is right across the street LOL)! I definitely could use a $50 gift card to Tarjay ;o)

    20. I hate to copy a frugal repair tip, but I can’t say enough about bamboo roman shades! They definitely perk up a room and give some interesting texture! I finally ditched the nasty plastic white mini blinds in our home and replaced with inexpensive bamboo shades and the difference they made is beyond belief!!!

    21. Frugal rental tip: Magic erasers. Great for cleaning up the scuffs that everyone leaves on the wall. Also, send the landlord notes just to say thank you. It goes a long way when renewal of the lease comes around and you want to keep the monthly prices the same :-).

    22. Sorry I left my rental tip on this post and the other….
But I’ve liked Apartment Guide on Facebook

    23. I didn’t know Target sold knobs! We’re redoing a changing table and need cute knobs without sending a fortune!

    24. Love your solutions and tips of apartment finds at Target!! I live in rented townhouse and those items are good to have in the house at all times. Especially when you are moving rooms around all the time =)

    25. I love the bins at Targt!!! But, I love just about everything at Target! Thanks so much for the chance to shop!

    26. My renter tip is when renting, especially a small place…think out of the box for storage. Put your bed on risers and use under the bed storage; use back of doors with hooks, pocket hangers, over-the-door shelves, use baskets, decorative containers for storage. Get creative 🙂

    27. Just moved to a 2 BR apt. from a 3BR/2Bath home. The best tip I can give is scale down and put unneeded furniture in storage, if you can or let somebody use it while you are in an apartment. Also I “remodeled” the bathroom, taking down towel rack and adding rings and shelfs and other storage pcs.

    28. I’m not sure it’s a “frugal” tip, but I think it affects money spent…
Be kind to your landlord and get your rent in on time. He’ll be a lot more willing to go out of his way for you if you’re pleasant to work with!

    29. Tip: when hanging pictures, put a sm. blob of tooth paste on the back of the frame where the hook is. Then push the frame on the wall where you’ll want it to hang. That way, you know EXACTLY where to put the nail in. None of that guessing=no “oops” nail holes!

    30. This isn’t just for renters, but it is very useful! My grandma taught me this! If your pantry has a plain door (not a bifold or slider) you can get an over the door shoe holder with pockets and put some of your food items in there. We used it for our rices, seasoning mix packets, and fruit snacks. 🙂

    31. My frugal renter repair idea is to replace the shower head with a flexible moving shower head. It’s fairly in expensive you can do it yourself and you can take the shower head with you when u go!!!

    32. I Luv, Luv, Luv my local Target store & their amazing storage section. Thanks for the chance to win a gift card to it! -Colleen G.

    33. Thank you for making entering easy. I’m much more likely to actually leave a comment on a contest like yours than the ones where you can get 2348 different entries for doing crazy things.

And I LOVE target drawer pulls. They might not have a huge selection, but what they do have is great for an awesome price!

    34. I think the easiest tip to decorate an apartment is to add lots of color. Most of us are stuck with white walls!

    35. I love Target!!!!! It would be fun to use this for a home improvement project like organizing!!!

    36. ooooo! I want to win! We are just (as in, this week) moving to our first home from an apartment, and I could totally use all of the things you just photographed. 🙂

    37. Oh girl, you hit everyone’s weak spot with this one, who doesn’t love Tar-jay??? Thanks for the rad giveaway…I’m still in awe of your 5 renter tips (c;

    38. And just to prove my like of all things crafty and Target-ey, I like AG on Twitter. Surely, surely you will pick me now! :0)

    39. Hmmm…I rent my home, too. One of the best “touch-ups” we’ve done are those “Wall Words” and LOTS of cool lamps and colors. My Moroccan-themed living room is my favorite room with its jewel tones and lanterns. And the Wall Words look great anywhere I put them–adding a touch of personality without marking up walls I don’t own! :0)

      PICK ME. :o)

    40. Ok, so Target is, by far, one of my favorite places…after GoodWill, Salvation Army & the Flea Market. SO, PLEASE PICK ME! 🙂

    41. Also, I’ve been in an extremely creative/decorative/innovative mood lately. I would love to use that Target Gift Card to shop for craft supplies. Thanks

    42. I love the pictures of your home. The rooms look like they’re straight out of a magazine! I wish I had such an eye for decorating… perhaps winning the Target gift card could help 😉

    43. renter repair tip: instead of giving up your deposit, take some spackle and white paint and fix all the holes, dents, scratches yourself before you move out.

    44. Still working on my “summer” mantle (which will be turning into my fall mantle very soon). What’s taking so long? I’m trying to find the items as cheaply as possible. Makes it more fun!

    45. I would absolutely love to win this! What a great giveaway! I will be a follower on Facebook too!

    46. thanks, I’ve recently purchased super glue at Target to fix a broken bamboo frame i got off a yard sale and worked out great!

    47. I’ve divorced from Walmart and met a new love…Target. The superstore is new in my town and I love, love, love it!! Thanks for the generous offer to whoever wins.

    48. Target is one of my favorite stores ever. It’s so dangerous to my wallet/bank account because I live less than 5 miles away from them. Awesome give-a-way!

    49. I buy all of my storage bins at Target. They have a good selection and they are frequently on sale!

    50. I love target we just had a super target built right across the street from us its with in walking distance I would love to win this card we have a few projects planed before summer ends

    51. my frugal repair tip is for small holes in walls or plaster board you can get a bit of cheap white toothpaste and fill the small hole with that it dries like plaster and than you just buff it with a nail buffer you cant use a gel or colored toothpaste but rather an off brand white toothpaste let it dry for 24 hours before buffing it out
