A Little Update {Giveaway Winners!}

It’s been a busy couple of weeks here at The Casabella Project. From awesome giveaways to the breakfast room reveal…wow!

Something that I haven’t had a chance to tell you is that the casa has moved. Please don’t pass out, fall off your chair or cry. I promise this is awesome and we had to move due to health issues with the old casa…we found mold when a wall caved in from termites. So. not. cool.

But the new casa…it is amazing! Like knock your socks off amazing. We moved this past weekend and I can’t tell you how much more this house feels like home. It is a historic home built in 1886…again, wow. There are some things that I’m not crazy about, but overall the new casa is a much better fit for our family…and it’s not falling down around us.

So, I’m thrilled that y’all are along for the ride because it’s going to be fun!!!

With that explained to y’all, congratulations to the winners of last week’s giveaways…

  1. Wait. What?!!! Oh my goodness, you’ve had a lot going on in your neck of the woods! Sorry to hear about all the upheave – I’m sure it was hard to leave the work you’ve put into your old casa, but it is soooo good to get away from MOLD (we had to deal with that in our house too). Not something you want to play around with. Can’t wait to see the pics!

  2. Congrats to the winners of the giveaway and congrats to you and your family on your new home!!! 🙂

    1. It was me! I found your email in my Spam. Thanks SO much Myra! Most of my decorating budget gets spent on things for the kids rooms. I am excited to have something new for me.

  6. Oh my, dear Myra. May the Lord give you strength for all of these changes. You have a good perspective. Take the good. Deal with the bad. Keep your eyes focused on things eternal.

  7. Oh my! Way to go keeping a cheerful perspective, and I’m glad you were able to move before the mold affected things too much (at least, I hope?!). Old houses are the best–have fun with it!

  8. Wow, Myra, you have certainly been busy! We moved this summer too but only one time fortunately. I took a break from blog reading/ social media to catch up on life but I can’t wait to see what everyone has been doing. I’m glad you settled in so quickly to the new place and can’t wait to read more about it. 🙂
