The Galleries Of Brian Brigham {Field Trip}
This past weekend my hubs, Ridley and I headed to South Carolina for a friend’s wedding. It was a gorgeous wedding! In our two day trip, I managed to squeeze in about thirty minutes to visit one of my old stomping grounds from my college day – The Galleries Of Brian Brigham.
My interior design internship was with Brian who I adore. She, yes she, is just fabulous and she has impeccable taste. Brian instilled in me a love of eclectic design. It was so wonderful to see her for a few minutes. I thought y’all might like to take a peek into her beautiful Greenville, South Carolina shop. If you live nearby, you should stop in there sometime!

Love this mantel, and the mirrors too!
I might have drooled just a little bit over this old door/sidelight/arched transom combo.
{so much to look at}
The red chairs are so cute!
I totally love this sofa and the aqua lamp!
This is an awesome idea…create faux windows on each side of a bed with mirrors!
Yes, I’m a sucker for architectural elements.
How awesome is the hanging lantern fixture?
I love this fixture as well.
Beautiful antique blankets and tablecloths
Fabulous design space!
Brian has an amazing eye for fabulous jewelry!
Love this little hallway!
Beautiful, eclectic vignette.
Outdoor furniture and architectural elements.
I completely adore this ancient bench that was built with pegs. The rush seat is in amazing shape and the pillows are beautiful. Now if I could just fork over $1200 bucks I’d be set. #nothappening #tightwad {giggle}
Do you like eclectic design or are you a one style only kinda person?
Have a fabulous Wednesday!
Checking in from work *shhhhh*! I’m definitely eclectic – can’t make up my mind on a style, so I choose things I like that works with what I have. Using a continuous color scheme throughout seems to tie it all together. 😉
Wow! What an amazing shop! So glad you got to visit!
I’m def. eclectic. Can’t decide if it’s country, or chic, or trash-into-treasure, or just plain comfy. I, too, love the mirrors on either side of the bed…hmmm, might have to do something like that in our bedroom! Thanks for posting the pictures and giving us some wonderful ideas! 🙂
Oh, and just a side note…I use old antique kitchen towels as cloth napkins. 🙂
Small world! I live in Clemson. Are you from around here or just attended school in SC?
Wow.. so many things to look at! I am totally electic. I can’t make up my mind of what I like. It keeps changing. I love the color of the blue/grayish wall. Do you remember if it was light blue or gray?
I love browsing in Brian Brigham Gallery. I also love to eat lunch at the restaurant behind the gallery. You have to stop in next time you are in town. Southern Food at it’s best! Crab cakes, shrimp and grits and even pimento cheese topped hamburgers. The meatloaf sandwich is wonderful too!
