So Many Gifts…
So many little things. So many blessings that I’m learning to notice. I’m learning to see them. Learning to slow down and breathe in these wonderful gifts.
Here are a few gifts that I captured this week. I hope they will inspire you to slow down from the chaos of life and notice the blessings in your life!
Beautiful Spring Flowers
Bountiful Veggies For Dinner
My Little Helper Who Amazes Me Each Day
Purple Flowers Kissed With Morning Sun
{anyone know what these are called??}

What is something that you are thankful for today?
If the flowers smell like the most wonderful thing you have ever smelled in your entire life they are lilacs. At least that is what they look like to me. I grew up in western NY and they were all around my neighborhood and spring smelled like heaven. I wish they would grow here in the south, I’d have a yard full of them.
Wow!!! How beautiful. I call that a wonderful day. Still learning the importance of noticing the small things. Thank you for the reminder.
I had a meal this week with sweet potatoes, spinach quiche and fresh organic greens. I’m thankfufor colorful daily bread!
*blessings*
Is it on a big bush? I believe they are hydrangeas…my grandmother used to have them in her yard.

A beautiful post! Today I am thankful for my children. They amaze me every day. My eldest son will turn 17 on Monday.
I’m thankful for family, friends, shelter, and the freedoms we have here in the good ol’ USA.
I’m going to have to 2nd the vote for lilacs. They are my mom’s favorite & they smell heavenly! Ours don’t bloom until June in the tundra (Aka 45th parallel) :(.
I am thankful for blogger friends who take the time to share beautiful pictures like these! (:>) Thankful for all of my blessings…especially 14 grandchildren! (11 on earth and 3 in heaven…plus some that were miscarried, that I will meet for the first time in heaven.)
Thankful for my wonderful husband…especially at my age when my best friends have lost their husbands. (Thankful for all of the friends and family I will be reunited with in heaven.)
Thankful for my God from whom all blessings flow!

Thank you sweet Linda! I love reading your comments. You inspire me!!
I am going to go with Hyacinth. At first, I though hydrangea, then lilac, but I looked up pictures and the one the most resembles yours is a hyacinth. Hope that helps.
Good Morning, just getting a chance to read your post today. Thank you for the reminder of the most precious things in life…the things we simply take for granted. If you flowers are on a bush (looks that way from pic) they are lilacs. 🙂
Have a great day with that sweet “helper” boy 🙂

Lilacs has my vote also! They are blooming abundantly here in Middle TN. Lovely!
Those are most definitely lilacs! I grew up in Minnesota and LOVED it when they bloomed! Enjoy! The smell is heavenly.
Beautiful photos, and love those daffodils!

Thanks so much Jamie!! 🙂
I choose lilacs over hyacinth because hyacinth
leaves aren’t quite like that but lilac are. I adore lilacs. I just moved to mid-georgia, wonder if I could get them to grow here???

Another vote for lilac as the mystery flower. I would recognize those beautiful lilacs anywhere. 🙂 We had a beautiful bush in our front yard where I grew up in western NY.
Thanks for your comment Esther! The consensus is that they are indeed lilacs! 🙂 Hope you’re having a wonderful week!
