Sunday Meditations – His Love
Do you ever sit back in wonder at the love of God?
That He, the Creator of all, would choose to send His most prized possession – His Son – to a speck of sand in the universe, called the Earth.
And on that Earth, that He would set His love on me – a tiny speck of sand on the Earth. Amazing.
Yes, THAT is love. His love is truly phenomenal.
The love of God is greater far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell;
It goes beyond the highest star,
And reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win;
His erring child He reconciled,
And pardoned from his sin.
Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky.
Oh, love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure—
The saints’ and angels’ song.

Be amazed with His amazing love today! 🙂
Thank you for your beautiful and inspiring words. It truly amazes me each and every day how much God does love us. And I am reminded of this with all that is around me. It breaks my heart for the people that do not see it.
Will enjoy following your story.
