Goals for 2010

This past year has been full of huge changes for our family. There have been successes and failures, progress and sometimes it feels like we’re back-tracking, but God is so faithful and hopefully we are learning!

Some 2009 highlights:

  • I left my amazing job (at the end of 2008) to become a SAHM.
  • Ridley was born on January 13th – best life-changer ever!
  • I started blogging in March 2009 – more to come on that later!
  • Prince Charming worked two jobs for most of the year.
  • He finally left his second job in October – Yay!
  • I continued my part-time design business (with Ridley on my hip).
  • We paid off debt via the “snowball effect” (if you don’t know what I’m talking about just Google Dave Ramsey!)
  • We’ve been stretched from our mistakes, but God’s grace is sufficient.
2010 Goals

Personal:

  • Lose the remaining baby weight.
  • Be a better wife and momma.
  • Read my Bible through in 90 days, wanna join me?
  • Finish my Home Management Binder – more on that later!
  • Make photo books from the last 4 years.
  • Organize my closets!

Financial:

  • Finish paying off debt.
  • Put our house on the market and see what God does.
  • Keep a stricter budget!
  • Save, save, save.

Family:

  • Spend more quality time together (bike rides, field trips).
  • Have family devotions every day.
  • Structure educational activities for Ridley.
  • Keep looking for ways to give and minister to others.
  • Grow in grace.

  16. We have a love/hate relationship with Dave Ramsey! I love that he is helping us be debt-free, but I do get sick of PB&Js every day toward the end of the month while we’re holding out for more grocery $$! Be blessed in your endeavors!

  17. You have set some great goals for this year! I share some of the same ones as you. I got a late start in the 90 day Bible reading challenge, but I’m chugging along. It is such a blessing.
