A Buggy Buddy Giveaway!

Does putting your child in the buggy (or cart or whatever you call the thing that you put your groceries in) sometimes make you cringe? Do thoughts like “I wonder who touched this last…” or “I hope they weren’t sick.” ever go through your mind?
These very thoughts have gone through my mind as I’ve touched grocery carts and door handles among many. other. things. Eeww. Adding a child to the “germy” equation makes it even more serious (or gross (however you look at it) for me.
My little man Ridley has been sitting up for about a month, so I’ve been thinking about letting him sit in the buggy instead of in his car seat as we roll around the store. I’ve found the perfect product for protecting my little one from everyone else’s germs that they’ve left on the buggy.
It’s called a Buggy Buddy!!

A dear friend, Debbie, who has been sewing for many, many years created this wonderful, child-protecting, mommy-inspired Buggy Buddy! She recently opened Mimi’s Babies an Etsy shop to sell her beautiful, custom made items. Debbie makes her Buggy Buddies to be much more versatile than similar ready-made products.

Isn’t it cute all wrapped up?

Features that I love:

  • Top: A hidden mommy-pocket for credit card, wallet, cell phone.
  • Left: Loops to attach toys
  • Right: Open space for legs is perfect
  • Bottom Left: Very secure clasp
  • Bottom Right: Velcro closure to secure the Buggy Buddy in the cart
  • Center: One pocket on each side of the Buddy to hold snacks or sippy cup

The fabrics that Debbie uses are beautiful, high quality and machine washable. I’ve also been very impressed with her impeccable sewing skills. The craftsmanship is amazing!

  26. I loved the "Bugalicious Baby Blanket". Not only is it my two favorite colors (pink and green, both bright I might add) but my mom has recently learned how to do crocheted blankets like this and they are AWESOME! I loved the fleece that she found for this one, cute little bugs all over it 🙂

I also love all the items for sale- I will be ordering a "boo boo bunny" and when I fidn out what my friend is having I think the diaper bag gift set will be perfect for her shower gift!
